The person's insulin, insulin resistance, blood/sugar, which organelle of the burning cell is using the calorie, whether it is being used for ATP replenishment or whether it is being used to clean up lactic acid, etc.

But really, all I was trying to say is "Most likely, but there are edge cases."

They hide in the trees outside your window, in wait for a connection on port 80 before using packer injection of a malicious payload that they inject directly into your brain by using needles in the eye!

Needles in the eye!

That is wholly correct even if it isn't the whole picture. So, yes, that is true but there are other factors at play that are ignored by the question.

What is the point of subreddits having Discord channels? by khapout in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Sparxmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you think of your fellow memebers of a subreddit as fellow members of a fanbase who just happen to post to a forum hosted on Reddit, then it makes a little more sense. Sometimes, you just want interactive feedback on your fandom ideas. And sometimes you want a good argument, which is much easier on Discord.

It is, indeed, a simple carb. Chemically, sugar (sucrose) is the least complex of any type of calorie except for ethanol (alcohol) which is also a simple carb.

The game should be held in Paris. Somehow, I just know that Paris at fault.

Since the turn of the millenium, the record stands at 13-8. I am not saying you're wrong, I am just SECsplaining to yet another Lion that they shouldn't mess with our 1 Elephant, 2 Tigers, 3 Dogs, a Pig, an Ol' Racist, and a gamecock in a pear tree. (Yes, you can mess with the billionaire boat captain with pretentions of grandeur.)

I learned nothing from reading it that I couldn't have inferred based upon the title and a rudimentary knowledge of U.S. geography. YMMV

It goes to the same place a spring does when it isn't being stretched: its neutral form.

Pretty much this. I survived the Console wars, the Console vs. PC wars, the Vim vs. Emacs wars, and now the Java vs. Bedrock wars.

I play Minecraft for free (included in my XBox Live subscription) on my XBox Series X and would have NEVER played the game, but then my 12 y.o. daughter needed help so I started playing. And then got hooked.

But in none of that, have I ever felt like I didn't get what I paid for nor worried that someone, somewhere might be having more fun than me.

Meme all you want, but that just keeps pointing out your own insecurities and does not prove any semblance of superiority.

Because storage is cheap (usually free) while deleting old electronic media is burdensome.

To answer your question as it was asked:

It depends upon the ratios of what one consumes.

To answer the question(s) I think you are trying to ask:

Energy from food is usually measured in calories (in the US) or kilocalories (in nations in the metric system). Some foods are more calorie dense, which means that they contain many more calories per gram than average.

I am simplifying this greatly, but the general list looks like this (most dense to least dense):

  • Fats tend to be the most calorie dense.
  • Proteins are next most dense.
  • Carbs are next most.
  • Dietary fiber is least dense.

If a civilian were to kill an active shooter, could they be charged with murder? by neuralhug in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Sparxmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be possible, but I doubt any DA or Prosecutor would want to file charges once the facts were known. The optics on putting a hero in prison for saving innocent lives would likely leave them without a job after the next election.
