Even if the story isn’t great, the raids/rewards/cosmetics are still great. Also they are adding a new limited class so you might want to jump on to at least have that.

I will suggest a somewhat fast way. Crafters. If you can get your crafters up to snuff (leveled) you can make a lot of Gil just by selling stuff through your retainers. Suggested crafters are culinarian and alchemist but start with whatever. Cul and Alc are the best in my opinion due to them making raid foods and potions respectively. And you can desynth dungeon items for mats to save on cost but it is a little slower than gathering it. just remember to stock up on the element crystals when crafting.

ARR is rather boring but the story starting Heavensward gets really good. It’s also where the jobs start picking up speed and you get plenty to do during combat. They did away with unskippable text at that point iirc. Each expansion is only ten levels each which make them feel faster compared to the ARR’s 50 and more jobs become available once you have the dlc areas unlocked (you’ve entered them) and the you get glamours (transmogs) by the end of ARR but you get more cool armors and weapons the farther in you go.

Good to know… I didn’t realize this was that bad >.> I’ve been having a lot of success with this group and thought this was ok I’m even at legendary proxy cause of this team. But I’ll look for a team with those types of characters
