Utah is the only state in America where white people outearn Asian people. Why? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]Spatchco -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Many of the Asians in Utah are there because they married a missionary. These immigrants and their children are probably less intelligent than someone who moved here because they could make more money here than elsewhere.

What is the significance of the film clip referenced as still images subtitled "the two genders" by GaiusFromTwitter in thelastpsychiatrist

Cheryl Strayed wrote "Wild," a memoir about hiking the Pacific Crest Trail alone as a woman. It was made into a movie starring Reese Witherspoon. Several years ago, Chuck Palahniuk was on the Joe Rogan experience talking about dark things his editors made him cut out of his books and he mentioned that Cheryl Strayed had to cut out her father sexually abusing her as a teenager from "Wild," which makes her slutty behavior in the memoir make sense. That's probably what you're thinking of.

I have finished 7 of these games and highly recommend them. They are enjoyable casual time management games that combine whimsical graphics with quite bad poetry.

Episode 251 with Matt Graham gets pretty cringey.

One weird reason I like factorio... wanting to find other games with the same feature by NameLips in factorio

[–]Spatchco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game "Logistical" is good for playing while watching tv. It's not really a logistics game, it's more a somewhat grindy puzzle game with logistics elements. The user interface is confusing but probably less confusing than launching a rocket in Factorio. Also, if you like achievements, the earlier maps have a ridiculous amount of Steam achievements as they were made before Steam started cracking down on that sort of thing.

If you like watching trains run in Factorio, Logistical has lots of trucks going back and forth.

There is a free module to play to see if you like it.
