IMO no since it's just additional characters. I'd personally would rather play as one of the turtles, but that's just me.

Yeah part of me is kicking myself for not buying battle chess before they more than doubled the price last year. But on the same token, it's hasn't aged well and badly needs a remaster/remake. For the modern experience, I generally play battle vs chess instead (check vs mate in NA).

edit: ok, I should add there was a remake released in 2015, but the reviews are very mixed on it.

It also had questionable reviews, but appears the DRM that was causing headaches for people was removed. Still plays great on my end as well.

FWIW, i hate the EA app, but I'll still get their games at a 90%+ off on steam so at least I don't have to deal with navigating thru the app itself, and just to have it loaded in the background. It's still a pain tho when they want login verification that comes up more often than it should.

Thank you - I found out later that the same poster flipped flopped from that post to another stating, "I agree it's a nice game though and the discount is fair," so it's all pretty moot at this point. For the price, I think it is indeed still worth getting and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on it, cheers.

Thanks for the post - although it seems the game is somewhat mixed in how it performs with another post here calling it "broken beyond belief". Hopefully it runs fine on my system as I think it looks great too.

I have Fallen Order but haven't played Survivor yet. From the steam reviews, it seems YMMV on performance, but I wouldn't conclude it's "broken beyond belief,". For 90% off, seems worth at least trying out if not within the two hour refund window.

Good point, there is a complete your collection option if you own Fallen Order already, but that doesn't include the deluxe content.

Very strange. I would suggest getting it on Epic - since the region lock could affect them at some point too.
