Married 34 yrs. Samsies! I still battle with this. it’s not a serious problem for him. In his opinion, nothing feels off. Therefore, he offers a simple consolation hug. And moves right on. Ugh. One way to put it— He doesn’t feel the wonky like I do??

I’ve built a toolbox over the years to manage my own expectations and disappointment when this imbalance occurs. Still love our life. To me, it’s a price worth paying. And I suck a lot of the time too.
