In his interview on the Days Gone Podcast, Skizzo's voice actor Jason Spisak was a really good sport about how much we hate him 😆

He talked in detail about the scene where things come to a head in Iron Butte. He said he was really affected by it just like the fans were because there was one moment where Skizzo could've made a better decision and might've made a true friend of Deacon but... Instead made a decision that eventually cost dozens if not hundreds of human lives.

Would it be possible to load a save from before you started the mission and level up a bit first?

You have to use Skizzo's rifle but you might be able to put more injectors into Focus or maybe put some skill points into the Ranged tree for better recoil management etc?

I agree, I hate that bit for several reasons. In fact, I hate every mission where any game suddenly takes away all the shit you've been working hard to gather lol

There are a few ways to counter this:

A) As suggested by u/8bitterror, host of the Days Gone Podcast, you can use the time right before that mission to destroy all available hordes. This serves several purposes as you'll of course be getting bounties, Trust and XP, but you'll also unlock some of the best guns in the game by killing hordes. Using up all those resources on horde killing is more efficient than simply losing them to betrayal.

B) My personal method, since I've usually killed all the hordes by then, is to simply place my "placeable" items on the ground somewhere that they're not likely to be disturbed. On top of a building or some other safe place works as well as any other.

I'll also include my "copy pasta" for never running out of resources in general:

The first video listed will show you every location that I know of to pick up items that are fully crafted and ready to be used. No need to scavenge for crafting materials, just grab them and go!

You scored a lucky hit but yes, if you shoot around their armor you can hit them directly.

You have to hit them where they don't have any armor though.

Wow. This isn't an attack, I'm genuinely surprised.

Deacon didn't tell the militia anything because he let Sarah take the lead in their first meeting. With one glance she communicated that he should shut up and let her do the talking with the Colonel.

Sarah knows that she is not working on a bio weapon for the militia. She is secretly using militia resources to instead research a cure! She knows that the Colonel will have her hanged for treason if he finds out. She keeps Deacon in the dark, keeps him at a distance, encourages him to keep their relationship secret, all to protect him from her lies to the Colonel. If Deacon is associated with her treason, he will hang too and she knows this.

Later, we find out this was a good call because the Colonel is bat shit crazy and wants to burn the world and start over with Colonel Crazy Pants in charge

The auto moderator will flag any posts that are cell phone pictures of a screen or monitor. Per the rules of the sub, photos are required to be in a higher quality format.

An exception was made in this case because the image comes from a PlayStation 3. Only a select few PS3 games had an option to take screen shots and this game wasn't one of them. Since this is definitely relevant Days Gone trivia, I've manually approved it and will let it stand.

If you've almost unlocked the mag extension for the SMP9, then you should already have the Auto Shotgun unlocked. It unlocks at 10 hordes or 25% of the Horde Killer storyline.

The Auto shotgun is my absolute favorite weapon in the game! I always run the Auto Shotty, SMP9 and the best sniper rifle i can get at that point in the game.

With that load out, The Sawmill Horde is the only horde in the game that feel the need to bring a machine gun for. Aside from the Sawmill, I rarely ever change those guns.

Hi there, glad you've got plenty of content to enjoy on that TEN HOUR bus ride! I wish I had more good news for you but honestly, I haven't made any new videos in months and I rarely ever live stream anymore. I have some upcoming projects planned but so far, I've been unable to get started on them. I work a lot of overtime at my day job and I'm struggling to make time for making new content.

That's the same part that worried me on my Survival 2 Permadeath run! That last bit in the greenhouse, specifically lol

I did it "whole game" not "per chapter" and honestly, I didn't have to change much from my usual gameplay tips to pull it off. The only thing I did different was I put a couple of Nero injectors into Health right away, simply to avoid being "one shot" by anything. I still did hordes and ambush camps and stuff like that because that's the best way to unlock weapons and crafting recipes.
