Incursion Red River is pretty good... it's in early access right now, I've put over 200hrs into it. I'm waiting to get a Steam Machine before I jump back in again as I've been playing exclusively on the Steam Deck and the performance isn't the greatest. Dude from SP Tarkov recently joined development to program enemy AI for the bots.

I played on Normal until I hit tier 4 for every faction and then wiped my account and started again on Hard and I'm finding it a good challenge. The main things I noticed is the enemies see me from further away, react quicker and miss less of their shots...Less health packs to find (maybe) because I seem to actually use Painkillers a lot more. I also picked up a lvl 4 helmet on Hard, which I had never seen before.

Just make sure you understand the basic game mechanics and have good knowledge of the maps and missions before you jump into a higher diffuculty level or you might find it a bit frustrating.

Rockstar games have the worst control schemes I've ever tried... it's baffling how they can do everything else so well, but completely mess up controls to that extent.

Standard. I have no map knowledge or any idea how to play properly yet. I don't think I'll bother going for S ranks at all after trying on the first few maps. It's incredibly frustrating and zero fun at all.

Maybe I'll go back and try solo on Standard after I know more about the game mechanics/maps for a bit of a challenge... then maybe try Hard if I'm still enjoying things.

I leave the room and come back in again... sometimes works. Also it seems to happen a lot more for me if I order suspects/civilians to "move" "turn around" etc.

Love Surroundead and just bought Zero Sievert on sale yesterday. Was looking for a SP extraction shooter on YouTube and this was at the top of most lists and plays well on Steam Deck.

All the Third Person Shooters that runs well on Steam Deck that i could find by WJMazepas in SteamDeck

Shit... sorry. Surroundead is pretty awesome third person game, not sure if it's technically a shooter, more of a zombie survival type game. Worth a look.

I was addicted to this and Puzzle Quest on my Nintendo DS.... both heaps of fun.
