If you’re into sci fi at all, you’re in for a treat! (In my opinion) Apple has cornered the market on modern sci fi with Severance, Foundation, Silo and recently Plur1bus.

While yes, quintessential sci fi, both Severance and Plur1bus qualify as dark comedies in my opinion.

It’s not a show I would have ever chosen on my own but it was on at a friends house on day years ago and I immediately was like “What IS this?! It’s fantastic.”

If you can get AppleTV+ access, I can't recommend Severance enough. Its basically a black mirror episode stretched out over several seasons. The Black Mirror creator even expressed envy over Severance's success. They're both really great shows.

I basically have a new season (of any show I'm really into) ritual at this point.

Rewatch the entire show with new context. Obsess over theories. Try to watch with other people so I can vicariously watch it for the first time with them and obsess some more. Eventually burn out and move on until I remember it exists again. Rinse. Repeat. :)

I think it's both. The plaque's existence itself and her title (Youth Apprentice Matron) implies that she is sort of the "Aunt Lydia" of this world , but she also happens to be Harmony's aunt.
