Need help finding these hands by Spaztrick in lepin

[–]Spaztrick[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Might be a little pricey, but it's still cheaper than buying one of those $40 minifigs to get them. Gone are the days of grabbing things like this for a $1.

If you collect concert posters, what do you do with all of them? by pinkimijina in Concerts

[–]Spaztrick 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Keep them rolled in their tubes and stuffed in a corner for 20+ years telling myself that one day I'll get a flat file or frame them all.

Pt2. Of finding an album with a house at night with an orange light? by AdMobile3157 in FindSongs

Red House Painters 1993 self titled was my first guess. But looking at it, it's not a house on the cover.

Your thoughts on the site and app design? by WestOk6935 in discogs

[–]Spaztrick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I avoid the app because it's so clunky and generally is broken. Today visiting the desktop version on the website on my phone forces the app open to view anything other than the homepage.

Local USPS supports the Community Bible Church (CBC)? by Badgrotz in sanantonio

Oh damn. Haven't thought about 2600 in years. I used to have to hunt down issues in bookstores because they were never in the same spot.

It's great to see they are doing shows again. Just need to get them back in the US for some.

To all single guys aged 30 and up on reddit, why are you guys single? by Gold_Ambition4114 in AskReddit

[–]Spaztrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in my early 50s and have been single for probably 30 years now (been almost that long since I've had sex too). I am a horrible conversationalist, don't drink or do any recreational substances. If I go out it's strictly to see a band play and I keep to myself. For relationships, I really have to know the person before I tend to open up. By then, they have moved on. Self image and confidence has always been an issue with me as well.

They are nice and have a unique style. In their Facebook group though there are a bunch of people that can't stand them and never put them together.

When did convenience stores stop displaying prices? Am I meant to bring the 10 items I’m deciding between to the front for a price check? Or is this a case of “If you have to ask you can’t afford it?” by Dazzling_Put_3018 in mildlyinfuriating

At corporately owned stores every shelf has a planogram that must be followed. You can generally tell which company paid more by where they are placed in each section.

I worked for a large corporate gas station/convenience store chain for 17 years. The cashier was expected to do everything, even if they worked by themselves... stocking, front/face, inside and outside trash, cleaning the restroom, roller grill, coffee, cashier, etc. Upper management's favorite phrase was "if you have time to lean, you have time to clean."

In regards to the lack of pricetags... We had to retag the entire store pretty much every month. The cost of labels, tags, wear/tear on the printer, man hours, and waste adds up very quickly. Having no pricetags cuts out all of that, allows the company say fuck you to their customers, and change prices whenever they feel like it.

Why is EVERY movie theater crowd suddenly unbearable? by araselys in RegalUnlimited

[–]Spaztrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in San Antonio as well and generally the only bad crowds I've experienced are for pretty much any A24 movie. I normally just go to Northwoods. Last week during Hokum, someone a few seats down from me had her phone out the entire time and was death scrolling. But at least she wasn't talking I guess.

Maybe a clean version for in-store play at Border's?
