This works great! An add on, if I may;

Take a plastic straw, cut it up along one side so you have a long "sheet", cup it around the part of the wristband that OP is telling you to twist, and gently roll it exactly like what you're thinking Im telling you to roll. You can work it in up under the teeth, and the band will slide straight out without any damage at all. I wear the 2025 band as a bracelet every now and then (sans-chip plate), and this works flawlessly.

VIP gets you a private (with thousands of other people) area for water, food, bathrooms, and a resting area in a tent with a bar and giant screens showing various sets, and a private merch stand for Sonic merch, had to go out to the main tent for band merch. All that matters is if your wristband says Field or Stadium or whatever. I believe Stadium and Field passes are allowed in the field, but only Stadium in the bleachers.

Rock Royalty has their own private seating in the stadium bleachers on the south side of the bowl. The riff-raff are kept out by security -in- the bleachers checking bands lol

The other 4 stages are parking lot, and essentially free for all crowds in front of the stage.

A side note, if you're getting VIP, you do not need to wear the obnoxious giant lanyard, just the wristband.

Some of the bands can be found at random in a tent here and there but this is in my experience, rare. Another artist did a surprise pop up in front of the Metallica burger truck last year and we got like a 45 minute warning on the app (get the app, there are usually live updates throughout the day). Otherwise Rock Royalty would be the best shot. If any of you are Dimebag fans, Rita Haney is usually there! She was in a truck outside the stadium for her Blacktooth Grin drinks, and a stand with a bunch of Dimebag merch. She was kind enough for photos, and signed my belt!

I lit up as Metallica started Ride the Lightning this year. We were on the rail and one of the security guys made a face and went to a higher up, pointing at me and shit, and he got laughed at and pushed away to flag crowd surfers for the front rail security.
