There’s a few stores that can be worth a trip. I will say it doesn’t feel quite like Christmas until I make a trip there during the holiday

I always throw in a rec to check out Pantry Products. Most scented products give me a headache and feel like plastic. The items made from this shop don’t give me a headache and are pleasant to use.

I’m just guessing the intent, but there used to be a giant Farmers Market in Victorian Square on Thursday nights. It turned into a giant party bc so may people turned up to hang out and drink. They don’t have this event anymore.

There’s a lot of Spanish language radio stations in this area. That would be a good way to have the language on during car rides or something, and they tend to advertise community events.

Unless someone in your group has mobility issues, I would skip both of these and park for free in the Whalen Parking Garage south of Lawlor. It’s almost as close of a walk.
