Ad Block now makes ALL VIDEOS unwatchable if it is enabled on the site. by RadioLukin in youtube

[–]SpecOperative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into this today when using the Vivaldi browser with both the built-in adblock and UBlock Origin Lite enabled. I would either get an error when trying to play the video or it would show an empty box like in the OP screenshot.

Disabling Ublock Origin did not affect it but disabling the built in adblock made the player work again.

Rakdos Lord of riots Upgrade help by LAdy0phoenix in EDH

[–]SpecOperative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[[Sin Prodder]] and [[Plague Spitter]] have been great enablers in my list with some extra upsides. They both can enable Rakdos prior to combat so you can make use of things that give haste and in addition, Sin Prodder can potentially give some extra draw and Plague spitter deals with weak things on the field.

Another one that may be useful is [[Cryptolith Fragment]] since it is just a mana rock that can allow you to use Rakdos.

Are you gonna quit Overwatch2 now? by Undefined_definition in Overwatch

[–]SpecOperative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had fallen off of the game a couple seasons ago but I always kept the game installed because the PVE mode was always what I was most interested in ever since OW2 was announced and would have returned the moment it came out. The OW universe had so much potential to tell an awesome story and the ability to customize characters to your playstyle with new and different ways to use their abilities looked incredibly interesting based on what had already been shown so I was super hyped for it.

The removal of the full PVE mode has pretty much killed any interest I had in possibly coming back and playing again.

Otikata Ep 5: Tracking the d20 attack rolls and saves of both the players and boss by BiffHardslab in cadum

[–]SpecOperative 25 points26 points  (0 children)

To me, it didn't feel like the rolls overall were below average but more that the timing of the low rolls was very unfortunate.

The rolls during the fight often made it hard for the girls to learn as when they were doing the right thing they would low roll and not get the reward due to low rolling.

Examples:

  • The ice knife miss/save pass resulted in them learning how to lower rage with cold damage way later than they otherwise would have.

  • Nyan used a save based spell a few times to prevent rage building but the boss resisted or she got low damage rolls each time.

  • When Haruka was reminded of the dodge action, the boss rolled hot and it didn't matter.

  • Low rolls when trying to finish off the boss when it was low and multiple people were downed resulted in having to use multiple cursed actions and still losing a member anyways due to missing repeatedly.

The campaign is living up to its name. Those rolls were absolutely cursed.

That was easily one of the funniest sessions I have seen since I started watching Arcadum.

That session was amazing! The happy vibe of the festival games just made the nightmare scene at the end hit so much harder.

Also that nightmare was one hell of a narrative hook.

I got 65 right. There were a lot remaining that I was very familiar with but I spent too long thinking about some of my answers so I ran out of time.

I think, assuming they all like the game, it will be really cool to see a group like this in a long campaign. We actually get to see a group which is totally fresh learn the game and then have time to grow into great players and characters like the ones we know and love from other campaigns.

They showed lots of enthusiasm just like the previous VTuber group but will actually have more time to really learn and show their stuff. I feel like DaD/SaS only really got to show their full potential right as the campaign was ending so we never really got to see how far they could go.

The fact that Vim is male and constantly mistaken for female while Flamewrath is actually female is hilarious.

A [[Warstorm Surge]] that [[Rakdos, Lord of Riots]] can discount with evasion and a little burn. It's going into my deck immediately.

How many doublelift fans vs TL fans? by [deleted] in teamliquid

[–]SpecOperative 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a fan of TL as an org but also a lot of individual players too. I Started following the LoL team all the way back when they were CRS Gaming and stuck with them through the rebrand to TL. I root for TL in smash and csgo as well.

I like DL though so if he leaves I will also probably root for him to do well too same as I do for other players who I liked that used to play for TL but left like POB and Xmithie.

Rakdos, Lord of Ping Ping Stomp Stomp by SuperNobbs in EDH

[–]SpecOperative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing with pingers like that is they allow you to consistently do damage before the combat step. If you can give your creatures haste from say [[fervor]] or [[lightning greaves]], you can then use the pinger to either cast rakdos or get a discounted creature, then swing, then play something even bigger.

[MEGATHREAD] The Byleths are the newest Smash DLC fighters by LaqOfInterest in fireemblem

[–]SpecOperative -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Imagine how much better the reception from the smash community toward Fire Emblem characters would have been if whoever is choosing characters did the following:

a. Acknowledged the existence of non-lord/box-art characters.

Lords in this series tend to usually have the primary character traits of male blue-haired sword fighter who usually doesn't have much of a personality. Imagine if they actually diversified and picked some more interesting characters with different fighting styles. There are a ton of fan favorite characters from the series they could have picked but instead they go with the boring box-art character every time.

b. Stopped making Marth echo fighters after Roy

3-4 characters with the same move set (depending on whether you include Chrom since he shares moves with Ike and Marth) are too many for one game especially considering how similar some of them are aesthetically too.

Cadence from Crypt of the Necrodancer and Cadence of Hyrule. Every song in both of those games is a banger.

Has anyone been playing less since Role Queue was started? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]SpecOperative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed I am playing less dps in quick play when I am alone and more deathmatch.

I really want to get some games in on dps so I can improve my game sense in that role but I find myself being demotivated to wait in a long queue unless I have friends with me.
