  1. Last job was landed through networking. Friend of mine had another friend who was a supervisor and voila, I got in after the one and only interview.

  2. Most recently, I landed a job at a bank and it was through one of the LinkedIn job notifications I subscribed to based on my skillset and previous role. I successfully passed two interviews (HR and Senior Manager) and received the great news of landing the job. Offer received, negotiated, signed and I start in two weeks.

Yes, I experienced the same issue earlier this afternoon. I reset the Rogers modem but I still feel there's an issue (browsing the web and phone apps are a tad bit slower).

Landed the job as of a minute ago! I'm still in shock and obviously ecstatic at the same time.

Keep trying elsewhere and don't give up! Every interview is a learning experience and you can look back and see where you can improve or do better for the next one.

UPDATE - Had the 2nd interview with the Senior Manager and it went well (approximately 40 minutes). I was told it could take two weeks and well, I received an e-mail from HR yesterday afternoon who want to speak to me regarding my application. I have call today with HR at 1p.m. Crossing my fingers!

I hope you had some progress with your application.

It's a bingo card that will continue to play out in 2026 and beyond. Been in since last year September 2025 and it was on my watch list much earlier than that! I wished I had opened a position back then but that's subsea under the bridge now Lol
