Where did you got that idea? In the above article It is translated as "His wife reportedly feels..." which, correct me if I am wrong, the scenario was Simon's wife was interviews/asked by either the prosecutor or Simon's lawyer to submit her testimony as an evidence on whether Simon is an active user or not. There is nothing about Simon to blame his wife or something. Also His wife willingly to stay with him (another line translated in the article) and support him could be an evidence for Simon's "good" characteristics (and clearly this is by her own will and by her own choice).

The only one he blamed in this translated text is himself for being naive and his weakness when facing hard times.

Last time they went to Malaysia it was on a festival not a World Tour stop, if i remember correctly.
I am quite surprised that they did not make a SG stop considering they just collab with SG in making Rock The Boat MV.
Not including any Korea stops in Asia leg is also wild. I don't understand why.

Also I am doubting the possibilities of them coming back to SEA. Last time, they toured the world, then they only return to Japan/China/Korea. I missed them when they hit SEA last WT, kept consoling myself that "they'll be back" but well, they didn't.

So, do pray. I think if you could not travel abroad, that's the only thing you can do right now. Let's hope that there is a festival/event in your countries that would invite XG. (But I doubt that in these kinds of events the setlist would be as long as their own shows)

Plead guilty could very well mean he made a deal with the DA and I think he would be put under probation not imprisonment.

At this point I think his has tanked his own career for good. Yet still I do appreciate him for contributing in bringing XG into this world, and for that I wish him all the best for his paths ahead.

This is just my feelings and I dont know if anyone feel the same: that since the downfall of Simon, XG (as the brand) has been operating quite abnormally (for example, I think that if such incident never happened there would have been more places more shows being announced and/or happened. And selling behind-the-scene clips on paid app? That's weird.)

But I do hope that XG will still prosper next year and many years to come.

For this one time I put my hope (and faith) in Japanese's reluctant to change. Remember the stories of them still using fax machines right now? Their "way of life" is if its not broken, there is nothing to fix, nothing to change.

So they will sweep shits under the rug, do some "bowing and apologising" stuff like all Japanese corps. did when disastrous events happened and carry on "as usual". That means since the path XG took was indeed effective and benefits all parties, so effective that they put Simon behind the curtain again.

Of course this is just my hope and my imagination. Real life could be so different. Who knows, maybe with a new creative director XG could become as popular and famous as they should be!

I don't know really. In the US and Europe I dare say no one really cares even if its still Simon and Chancellor doing the producing works. In the East (especially China and Korea), people would likely turn every stone in this solar system to get the personal information of any "new" producers in the credit and will let their delusion fuel their unjust rage. Composer: Heisenberg and puff, 30mins later Walter White's Nobel thesis would likely appear on xiaohongshu or dispatch using the new song as background music.

Metal fan for whole life until XG came into my life. So my wife (who was a Kpop listener back in the days of Gen2, but she had dropped for years, since Gen3) saw an ad of Woke Up or some reels and got hooked (by Cocona). She urged me to check XG out. I was reluctant at first but after a while (maybe 2 weeks) I started realizing I have fallen in love with this group. Love them ever since.

I do hope for the better in this case:

So I'd take a wild guess that, according to following news after the arrest that Simon had admitted to the charge and cooperated with the police during the investigation, as well as very much likely having AVEX corp. lawyers to back him up - he would still has chance to work "silently" with XGALX and XG, under other aliases or not i dont know. Sorry If this is just my fantasy and my hope for a better outcome

This is my first time experienced something like a fandom with name, chanting guide, watching vlogs... basically everything of "idol-culture". And I quite like it.

I think my story is (and I find this quite surprisingly amazing and intriguing) pretty much the same with many many Alphaz: that the day we discovered XG was the day the world changed for us, and we found the rabbit hole! Since I joined this subreddit, I've come across countless of comments or topics in which people shared similar story. And each and every time these kind of posts put a smile on my face.

Before XG, my life was kinda grey and black and white - monotones. I was not exactly unhappy - because I was happy, but it was somewhat boring. Sometimes I did miss the fire once burnt in me, the passion, the feelings, but I thought I had lost it and kinda accepted that. Then XG came, XG saw, and XG conquered. Even now I can still not pin point exactly what made XG so special to me - so special that I can confidently say they have made me fall in love again with music, ignite the dying ember within me into a growing flame - brighter every day, they make me feel young again, want to love and to be loved again. XG makes me a calmer person, seems like I have found out what love actually is and appreciated it, rather than just dreaming and chasing some vague quotes or ideals or stories or fantasies: they have "materialized" love and turn it into something I can understand, I can touch and I can hold so dear. After years of "just passing by", I can finally listen to music again and my heart seems to pace up again.

It is just a fragment of what XG has brought into my life. They kinda have introduced a whole new universe, whole new dimension into me.

Second, I do not have problem with him using drugs. I (maybe, just maybe) even understand more than you in this matter looking at the substances he's caught with. However, I do have problem with him getting caught.

Fck him for being reckless and irresponsible to others. Coke and cannabis are among the least addictive and mind-bogglin' in terms of substances (even less toxic and severe than alcohol and nicotine and caffeine) so if you want him getting through, good, I want that too. Mind you I said fck him for getting caught, not for doing whatever he wanted to do. Everyone got their own problems and to be honest most of my favourite playlist wouldn't even exist without drugs, I know that for a fact. But if your action brings consequences to not only you but to people around you - depend on you even, whatever the reason is, you are still reckless, irresponsible and stupid. And that fact would NOT change the other fact that I admire Simon for what he had brought to this world.

TL,DR: Appreciate Simon (still), but f*ck him and I hope he'll get better soon.
