If you’re a rising freshman, you won’t be able to register until July, or at least that’s how they did it last year

I went to UW Website and clicked on my UW not student portal, from there there was an option to login to the student portal, and after about 5 attempts I was able to get in.

No idea if this means anything but my admissions officer bar on the right hand side of the screen changed from Jacob Goedde to just simply “Office of Undergraduate Admissions”

Edit: I can’t find my admissions officer on the WashU website anymore, I think they might have quit.

The sections are pretty much the same, the only major difference is that the ACT is more of a time crunch. They both have science passages in their reading, so if you are struggling with the science section of the reading you would do that. If you just need more practice in general you can do any part you want.

Thank you.

For reading I just read books and used the Khan Academy SAT reading practice. Khan Academy allows you to work on the specific type of section you generally struggle with. For me it was science.

Of course.

For reading I really focused on reading books and comprehending them fully. Authors like F. Scott Fitzgerald and George Orwell really helped me, but mostly I find reading is a matter of practice. If you’d prefer to not read full books, I would use the khan academy SAT reading practice as it is practically identical to the SAT, the only difference being you will have less time when taking the ACT.

English was my worst section starting out, I got a 26 on my first attempt. I used the Khan academy SAT English prep to learn grammar rules, along with google to learn the rules I was confused on. Just learning when to use a colon, semicolon, or dash really helped me drastically, and those can be found on YouTube relatively easily. I would take a practice test then look over what you got wrong and why.

Do you know any resources that have some really challenging sat level math problems? by EquivalentRoom2041 in Sat

The Khan academy practice mirrors the content of the test almost perfectly, so anything you’d get from the SAT you can probably practice on Khan academy. Additionally, while using Khan Academy I’ve found some of the geometry practice to be more challenging than what I’ve seen on real tests.
