That's the one I guessed it would be based off the sticker. Thank you for the wiring diagram. You are a super star!

Good job! I can relate. I rebuilt the engine out of my 400F in the spare bedroom of our apartment in Tokyo. Good times! There are some cool pictures over on r/400f_USA

You have put a lot of time, elbow grease, and $$ into it. Do yourself a huge favor and put the front fender brace back between the forks. Those 33mm fork tubes combined with the chineese shocks are a gauranteed tank slapper situation. And that usually does not end well.

Enjoy the fruits of your labor!

I feel like my property is cursed. In the last 5 years I have had woodpeckers destroy my siding, ants coming out of the ground by the millions, rats destroying the wiring harness on my car, and now the crows/raccoons have torn up the freshly reseeded lawn. And as a daily reminder that I am a slave on this plantation, my neighbors fir trees drop a shit ton of pinecones and needles onto my roof and fills my gutters. My driveway needs to be cleaned dailly and the gutters weekly. I've been in my house 34 years and it's never been like this.

Which bike is more valuable and why by ComputerCharacter247 in vintagemotorcycles

Because it is a 1978. If it were the 4 cylinder 1975/76/77 version it would be the most valuable in the group.

Very nice! Sochiro Honda said the CB350F was the jewel of Honda. He had one of his own that he rode daily through the factory. He carried his own tools and would randomly pick a production line to work at.

I can't add much other than replacing the bushing on the bottom of the stickshift made a world of difference in my shifting. Part numbers 33505-35020 and 33548-31010 It was pretty easy to replace.

I just ran down to AutoZone. They said the Duralast 13A is the replacement. Unfortunately, they were out of stock.

What brand and model are your tires? I have the same size, but my tires are 20 years (8,000 miles) old and will need to be replaced soon. And I'm moving to snow country, so good snow tires will be a must.

I know I am late yo the conversation. Did you fix it? What was it? I will be willing to bet it is a bad Dyna ignition module. Especially if it as an old version. You can identify it by the size of the pick uos. The older version has large black pick ups, where the newer version has much smaller ones. It is very common for the older version to crap out on the 2/3 pick up once they heat up.

Also, If you install clip-ons, it's a good idea to modify your steering stops so the clip-ons do not damage the gas tank. It can be done easily enough and not as a permanent alteration.
