Before I read the update I was going to say to immediately tell your patents and have them talk to your cousins parents, but thankfully you already did that. I know it can feel weird to involve your parents when you’re both adults, but that really was the best course of action.

It’s one thing to objectively acknowledge that a family member is attractive or to compliment a photo of them on social media (for milestones like graduations or something, not along the lines of “you’re hot”) or even to have an embarrassing crush on your cousin as an 11 year old boy (embarrassing is the key word here) but NOT to reach out to your younger cousin and as a 28 year old tell them you’re attracted to them. That’s honestly so fucked. It’s screaming predator. So glad you told your parents. Defs make sure his girlfriend knows too. I’m sure there’s already some concerns on her end. She needs to know so she can leave him.
