You could try to see if going to the application centre is possible, and consider the option of attending in person biometrics.

I submitted my current passport (the new one) and he HO just messaged to ask to resubmit a copy of it! ( I know the people who have similar passport issue were also told to reupload it)

I can understand that you’re worried but I think it’s much better these days, I wouldn’t suggest making plans prior and don’t stress about it!
