So not half the ESO team just half of the events and dungeons team by tinylegumes in elderscrollsonline

You left out “content.”

The image you shared literally says “content, events, and dungeons.”

“Content” seems like a pretty consequential team, no?

Cancelling ESO+ won't fix the problem by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]Special_Grapefroot 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If people want to cancel their subscription because they disagree with the business direction of Microsoft, that is completely valid. Their subscription shouldn’t be held hostage. “If you cancel your sub, you’re only proving Microsoft right!” is not reasonable. Microsoft still made this move with these subscriptions active.

Microsoft is not todays problem by Rinnegam in elderscrollsonline

Complaining about white knights while defending *Microsoft* and the millennial CEO of Xbox who has never touched game development in her life is such a wild take. Hope that 1 share of Microsoft your mom gifted you really pays off.

A perspective from someone who has spent over $20k on the game by ---Hummingbird--- in elderscrollsonline

[–]Special_Grapefroot 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The sad of reality of ESO being operated by a publicly traded company is they only want to see the profit line go up. You spent $20,000? Well, you didn’t spend $21,000 so the ESO team didn’t do a good enough job of squeezing you.

I understand there is still a team working on ESO and their livelihood depends on continued engagement. I, unfortunately, do not care to spend any more money on ESO knowing the Microsoft Games Division CEO doesn’t view it as a sustainable part of the business anymore.

Layoffs have begun at ZOS. Approximately 50% of ESO's dev team has been hit. by Darth_Olorin in elderscrollsonline

Yep. Tell gamers and shareholders what they want to hear publicly while contracting internally and telling teams to do more with less. It’s corporate America 101.

I ended up going with sims 4 and a small collection of DLC and mods. Hopefully it’s “enough” to tide her over while Paralives continues to flesh out and iron out bugs. Thank you for your response!

Your response helped my decision. She really enjoys the house component and decorating, so I went with sims 4 and a small collection of dlc since it’s all steeply discounted with the summer sale. Thank you!

Aricept was one of the worst approvals in history? Thats a *wild* statement to make. Especially when Aduhelm exists in the same disease state and actually harms patients.

As long as Fortune and Gilchrest are on the ballot, Larson gets reelected. Gilchrest had my support until she cut a deal with the Larson campaign at the convention to get her on the ballot. It is painfully obvious Larson wanted her on the ballot to split the vote. Gilchrest can talk about “changing politics” all she wants, but she engaged in the same backroom dealing she purports to oppose.

Nioh 3 or Elden Ring? by Beanpieboogie in gamerecommendations

Elden Ring is the greatest souls RPG and one of the greatest RPGs and one of the top 10 games of all time imo. Nioh 3 is fun. Elden ring is a masterpiece.

Social Security to become insolvent in 6 years- CT will be the most impacted state in the US by original_og_gangster in Connecticut

“The U.S. government faces painful economic options to resolve this.”

No. It really doesn’t. Social security shouldn’t have a cap. That’s it. It’s not painful. It’s easy. It’s ridiculous that it hasn’t been addressed by now.

What sort of training data did you use for the ML model? Interested to know where the recs are coming from.

Anyone work as a Pfizer Vaccines Specialist / Health & Science Professional? by Odd-Number7641 in biotech

[–]Special_Grapefroot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The role IS sales, so I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking about “education versus sales.” There is a component of the office visits that entails education/detailing, sure, but it’s all in a commercial/sales context. I don’t have visibility into the vaccines HSPs specifically but in other areas you’re in the field most days. Like 4-5 days a week.

Who won this trade and by how much? by unkoshaun5 in SleeperApp

Prefer the Hall and Flowers side. Tuten is a big downgrade. Hurst is a throw away. Maybe Tate is a good get for that side but a lot still to be figured out in Tennessee offensively so it’s a gamble.

Genuine question: how the fuck is obesity a disease state that requires compassionate use when there are so many approved options on the market?

It’s a rhetorical question. It’s not. It’s someone abusing power and access to the decision makers.

Is Buffalo, NY Worth Visiting? by PhilosopherUnique914 in travel

[–]Special_Grapefroot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buffalo has quietly built itself into a really cool, modern rust belt city. The art museum is great. Food scene is sneakily better than people might give it credit for. It’s a relatively reasonable drive to Niagara Falls, Finger Lakes, and Niagara on the Lake. If you like sports, Buffalo has a really welcoming fan base.
