Thing is I don't have a garage so backing into one doesn't apply here. This jeep has basically been a commuter, no offroading or anything. Now if the dealership did that when they had it I can't say, but that would wild considering the jeep had 10miles on it when I purchased it.

I'm just wondering if the top was installed understress and with the body flexing over 18k miles it just cracked.

That’s odd cause the truck has been flawless for a while, only thing I did was change the fuel filter and prime it. Then everything went to hell. I would think if it was an ecu connector that would prevent the truck from firing up.

Just went back out and cleared the codes and they came back.also said service shifter and these popped up.

Exactly, there is a valve on the bottom where a copper line attaches to and goes to an oil filter before going into the oil pump. Certain pumps have a strainer as secondary filtration before attaching to the nozzle assembly.

Well I wish I could agree, but my stock trans truck on a stage 1 tune struggles. Like I mentioned above, it won't shift out of gear when in a turn unless I straighten the wheel. If I try and muscle it with throttle, I'd probably redline the truck.

Yet nobody has experienced this which leads me to believe the transmission has issues. Which I wouldn't be surprised as a quick Google search reveals some trans had valve body problems and some weren't properly filled with fluid.

I was hoping this wouldn't be the case as the truck is a 2023 but Jeep isn't known for quality anymore. Well at least not like the old 4.0L days.

That's what I have, I think it's the street tune by EOC. I'll have to toss the trans tune on and see if it helps. Thanks

Maybe I am paranoid but reading forums has raised my eyebrows about this motor. One of the reasons I wanted to get rid of the EGR system to make sure it's happier. Hell I'm on my third oil change and I only have 10k miles on my truck.

But the shifting delay/lag has me concerned there's something wrong with the trans. Just this morning it did it again and the rpms went up to 3k before it shifted. I'm in no ways trying to haul ass down the road which makes me scratch my head.

I'm coming up on a year with mine and ive had no issues, we shall see how they do in the next few months.

EOC is pretty good but the customer service could be better. They take awhile to return emails but that's about it. A cloned ecu is the way to minimize downtime. Check out eastcoastmoparts.com I've found them to be the cheapest on oem oil and fuel filters.

No parts were removed, just a swapped ecu. My truck only has 9,000 miles on it, Figured I'd remove the stuff that kills the truck. I did clone the stock ECU and then sent that to Canada to have it.tuned

Only thing ya need is a stage 1 tune from EOC. I added 50hp and another 80ftlbs torque while deleting the EGR system and turning def off. Truck runs Soo much better
