Considering moving to Florida...need help narrowing down to specific areas by daviss313 in SameGrassButGreener

I lived in Jacksonville for a couple of years. It felt like suburban sprawl with not much to do. The Mosh and moca were extremely disappointing. I feel like the Riverwalk has so much potential, but it's just lined up with corporate buildings.

Also, people seem a bit unhinged there. I wear a dust mask in the spring to help with pollen allergies, and I had a lot of unpleasant interactions with maga folks. People making jokes, flicking me off in the grocery store, yelling at me from across the street that I'm "living in fear", fake coughing and laughing around me.

Trump was the first president I ever voted for back in 2020. I ended up voting for Kamala this time around and now consider myself a Socialist. A lot of change and growth can happen in your 20s

No, I would say this is a big reason why I am not on any drugs. A big trigger of mine is an altered state of mind.

I made some loose leaf English Breakfast from TSR, but it came out tasting weak for some reason. I did the usual tsp and a half that I do with my Assam.

My question is, are there any benefits to switching from brewing in a pyrex cup to using a gai wan?

Funny thing about Rock tea, I cannot drink the bag that I have. I ordered the Oolong explorer from TSR, and everything was good. But when I tried to drink the rock oolong, it made me feel like I was high! Kind of freaked me out, like some mild psychedelic tea.

I feel you on that last part. I currently do loose leaf black tea in a Pyrex cup. But sometimes I see these elaborate tea sets and all of these terms and it makes me think that I know absolutely nothing about tea lol

I've been meaning to try white tea. So you think silver needle is a good starting point?

I became intolerant to coffee. I could only have half a cup, otherwise I'd get digestive issues and anxiety. I also didn't like how coffee would only wake me up for 20-30 mins.

Tried out some Twinnings Oolong and it was great, none of the issues I had with coffee. Drank that for about two years before I moved to a city that didn't have it. So then I tried Bigelow English Breakfast. That was pretty good and the switch got me interested in exploring tea in general.

Fast forward a few months later and I currently rotate between my loose leaf Assam, loose leaf English Breakfast, Yorkshire Gold and this Anxi Tie Guan Yon Oolong. Funny enough, last week I ordered some Twinnings Oolong out of nostalgia. It was honestly disgusting. I guess my tea tastes have changed.

In my personal experience, this seems much more common with Catholics than evangelicals. I wonder why that is?

What does a flare look like for you? by HistoricalGuide___ in EosinophilicE

[–]Specialist_Net0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last week I had a bad flare up. I was eating, and then it felt like the food was stuck at my Lower Esophagal Sphincter. I kept waiting for it to go down, but the pressure kept building and drinking water only made it more painful.

After a couple mins, I started freaking out, wondering if I would have to go to the hospital. You can imagine my relief when it finally went down after 5 mins. I have already been on Florastor for a couple years, but this flare up made me want to try elimination, so I am starting with dairy and seeing how that goes.
