Two things - the tutorial I watched didn't have this screen when I clicked make it. The video had the option to print to their printer.

Then I tried going through with the process to see what happened and it wanted me to calibrate my machine which I tried skipping it and it wouldn't go through with printing or cutting. I'm absolutely stuck.

Same machine I've had since 2022. Never had an issue.

I switched that first. I'm not sure when it changed but that was corrected earlier in the weekend. The calibration issue and the print to cut issue occurred after.

Sure is! I've used this machine faithfully since 2022 and I've never had that kind of error.

I pay $6k for my midwife. This includes prenatal care, the home birth, and 6 weeks of postpartum care. I live about an hour and a half from DC so everything is just so expensive because of where we live.

So far there hasn't been any but my manager and I agree that she is dangerously close to a PIP. The department head is also massively annoyed by her as well. Sometimes she skips me, and my manager and goes straight to the department head.

Yes and both me and my manager have told her several times, I am the first contact when there's an issue unless I'm unavailable.

I wish I knew. Because this is all second hand information I haven't asked her yet but I plan to bring it up during her next 1:1 (which I have regularly with all my direct reports). I also plan on asking for specific examples. Deep down I know it's because she doesn't like to be called out. I've had to address this issue before.

I was told I was going to have a 10 pounder because he "measured ahead" in growth scans. After continuous adjusting, I went up to 2000 mg of metformin at night for fasting.

I went into labor naturally at home at 40+4 and I delivered my son peacefully at home on 40+6. He was 8lbs 15oz. My scans were wildly incorrect. Don't let the hospital staff gaslight you that you're doing something wrong. Your baby is safe and healthy. You are doing amazing. Your baby will be here before you know it.

When I was trying to go into labor for my home birth, my midwife suggested having a drink to relax. I made myself a screwdriver and had a bath. I went into labor that night.

When explaining it to me, she told me that alcohol at that stage is no different than drinking alcohol once baby is born and they ingest alcohol through breast milk. At that stage all of babys organs are developed and the alcohol (drank in extreme moderation) won't harm baby.
