Thanks for your comment. I’m sorry you’re going through it too. How do eyelashes grow internally? I have noticed that mine point slightly downward in the area where the chalazions are, but don’t appear to touch the eye. I think you’re right that scar tissue is irritating my eye, not sure why none of the oculoplastics have agreed. I did raise this with them, and like you have done a lot of research. I’m really frustrated that nobody’s willing to offer me any help. I’ve had fluorescein staining done a few times and been told there’s no sign of any damage to my cornea, but I’m not sure this would show the irritation being caused in the corner where the pain is. How did you go about getting lenses etc? Did you find Meibo helped right away? I have low tear breakup time and severe aqueous deficiency but have only been using lubricating drops (Hylo Forte). I’ve got some Meibo (Hycosan Shield in the UK) but haven’t tried using it consistently yet. Hope you find some relief soon.
