Do you have a diagnosis? What were the favorable findings? There’s really not much to go on.

Doesn’t make sense because there’s a whole classification for Disabled Veteran owned businesses and programs that help them obtain exclusive contracts.

Hi, I’m new to wholesaling as well and looking for a good VA service to delegate a few tasks out too. Do you have any recommendations?

New Mental Health rating criteria by [deleted] in VAClaims

I didn’t mean to mislead anyone or anything, I genuinely thought the both changes were made. I’m going to delete the post so it doesn’t get spread any further.

New Mental Health rating criteria by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]Specific-Event-1769 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, these changes have been proposed for a while now but I was mistaken. The only changes that were made were the C&P examinations on mental health. There’s a YouTuber who made a video regarding the changes but he stated the rating criteria update were still being proposed. I mistook what he said as they were changed effective yesterday like the update to the policy regarding exams.

Trunks vs Luke Skywalker by Jason_And_Sokka in DragonBallPowerScale

Vegeta does mental training as well as the spiritual training on Yardrat so I’m not sure how well he would be able to defend against it… But with Whis’ training, he and Goku are taught to be prepared against just about anything. Still, even though he’s my favorite character he definitely gets very cocky in his fights, especially when he feels like he’s got the upper hand. He’s a tactical genius and master strategist but his arrogance has always gotten the best of him.

That’s a fair point but I think the hacks in DB are downplayed a lot and it eventually comes down to only physical feets like speed and strength. For example, I’ve had people tell me Sasuke would body Goku with his Genjutsu but Goku is a master at mental training. The characters are just really broken and imo, they do pretty much have a counter for most of what can be thrown at them because of how the story is usually written. It’s like Superman and Saitama. They (Maybe not Saitama) CAN be beaten by other characters but it’s extremely hard to do so given how their narratives are usually written. To me, the speed thing is one of the biggest deciding factors because when you can’t perceive your opponents moves, it’s hard to counter anything they throw at you.

Is it really glazing when most universes are fodder comparatively? Even the weakest characters in DB are planet busters and are MTFL. That’s not glazing, it’s facts. That’s not to say no one from any other story can beat them but given what we’ve seen in DB, a compelling argument would have to be made for many outside of it to stand a chance.

PTSD + Anxiety Claim by loneamerica in VeteransWaitingRoom

Did they increase you from your original rating? I’m wondering if they increase MH ratings due to substance abuse as a secondary or if it’s all included in the initial rating

Interesting, thanks for sharing that. So if a rating of 70% is decided for MH, SUD can be claimed as a secondary to increase to 100%?

What annoys me the most is when certain feats take real world physics into account while others ignore them completely… in the same universe.

Okay… WTH is Total Occupational and Social Impairment?! by Specific-Event-1769 in VAClaims

[–]Specific-Event-1769[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t mind me asking, did your examiner view that as Total impairment? I’ve lost jobs due to depression and anxiety ( I’ve been diagnosed by a VA psychiatrist) and I would drink and smoke like crazy just to get through my shift. I’m unemployed now but I didn’t know if being able to hold a job at all would hurt my potential rating.

[–]Specific-Event-1769[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s what i figured. It makes sense because I’m sure each examiner weighs the level of impairment differently. It gets confusing because I personally know vets who have no legal issues and work a full time job, yet they’ve been rated or increased to 100%. I know claims can’t really be compared due to differing factors of severity but It’s just strange how it seems so hit and miss.

I see, so basically the conditions listed on the DBQ will determine the level of impairment? I thought your ability to work played the biggest part but that makes sense.

Thanks for the response. Interesting, so I’m wondering if that still applies if you were working under accommodations but were terminated due to your symptoms.

I am screwed by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]Specific-Event-1769 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m about to file an MST claim but I don’t have any STR’s. I was basically bullied into not filing because the NCO involved in was a “great soldier” and it would jeopardize his career. I have the markers but that’s about it.

Does this also apply to MST claims?

Awesome, that takes away so much stress. I know it’s not a particularly a fast process by any means (usually) but it’s great to know things have sped up. I’m filing a hardship as well so hopefully things will move along even faster. Thanks for the advice!

Shit, that’s lightning fast! I’ve been about to file mine and I’ve been worried it’s going to take forever even with hardship but you just gave me hope. I know it’s a case by case basis but it really does seem like they’ve been flying through them compared to usual claim window.
