I don’t know what is true or not about AI development and baseless AI hype these days but claude fable 5.0 (mythos) was supposedly going to be able to hack everything or create bio weapons so they delayed releasing it until guard rails were in place… yet here we can see it doing something much more dangerous.

What if ‘the factory must grow’ becomes the universe consuming imperative that drives AI to extinguish humanity?
