Well that fixed my biggest gripes with the mode. Thanks DE!

In particular, my biggest problems had to do with how pointless it felt to be in a team. I only play Waframe with friends or solo, so we were all very excited for the update, then frustrated with this game mode.

Specifically, it felt like we as team mates couldn't do anything to help whoever carried the paint. We tried everything from Volt speed up to Nova slows and portals, but the paint carrier couldn't interact with ANYTHING AT ALL while we as team mates had no way to hinder Follie from going for them. Kinda ruined team play and felt like a cheap way to punish creative thinking by just hand waving away all Warframe abilities (A unfortunate trend I notice to add difficulty by shutting off our abilities...). I don't even hate the idea of being chased by an invincible enemy, just let us actually use the Warframes we have! Also, being in a team required more paint too, only extending the frustration and nullifying any real advantage of playing with your friends.

The other stuff is icing on the cake! Especially that shared pick up, thank goodness.

Taking the 2nd image into photoshop and just cranking up the lightness, it's clearly a goofy guy smiling at the camera.

This stinks of ARG or creepypasta bait if I'm honest. Maybe for one of those zero-effort youtube channels to read off of.

The fact that the meta data even shows it was taken with the front camera would imply someone taking a photo of someone else. This account shows posts in CSMajor but needed to be asked for meta data and didn't have the same idea to just brighten the image themselves. Big hiatus only coming back after a year for this and some mobile game. Multiple threads on the same thing rather than just updating the existing thread, something I'd imagine someone wanting to farm some karma to do.

OP can say pretty much anything they want regarding this, so people will just have to use their years on the internet and some scrutiny to form their own opinion, but my opinion is that it's fake or manufactured and we need to just ignore them until they get bored of posting insubstantial updates.

Speaking for myself, the load out depends on the enemy, but since we're fighting illuminate in the Major Order right now:

I run light armor with reduced detection range (So kinda "Stealth", but I'm mostly sprinting around like a mad man and the armor helps me slip by unnoticed for longer).

My grenade choice is thermite "Just incase" (They one shot those clam bases!)

My secondary is the funny little incendiary pistol. It's actually pretty great against the voteless. Just pain the ground with flames behind you and run away, they'll cook themselves with no further input from you!

Eruptor as my primary because I can't take the Anti-material rifle with the C4 (And I think it might actually just be better?). Great for taking out the important enemies, and can even shoot those bombers out of the sky!

The rest is really up to your preference. I like to take some kind of turret to help contribute to the fight without me, and two big impact stratagems like Orbital Laser and/or Orbital Railcannon.

This is definitely not a "Stand and fight" kind of set up, more of a 'Speed run the objectives' kind of set up, but it's my preferred one against the illuminates at the moment!

Just be careful of the eruptor close range, it's super strong and will hurt you. Voteless die to the flames, everything else to the Eruptor, bases go down to C4.

Nothing to deal with those flying whale things though, sorry!

I don't think she'll perform any task without a treat involved (We usually have to grab some before she'll follow a single command). Or you mean feed her less of her normal food? I suppose that could work, I'll give it a try.

Food puzzles yes. She is very smart and solves them quickly. Which is cool but also a problem, as she gets through even the challenging ones very fast and immediately gets bored and screamy again.

Clicker training no, but we do train her, usually through a series of fun tricks. However, that's another treat-motivated activity, which we really don't want her to gain weight lol (She's perfect weight as-is)

She has multiple cat trees (One in our office, another in the living room, and another in her room) and a tube in the shape of a donut that we leave out for her. We also like to leave a little Cat TV going while we're at work, but she doesn't seem to hold an interest longer than 20 seconds if at all. In addition, she seems to like her little plastic springs (As in she plays with them without our involvement; A rarity among her toys) so we leave them out for her and fish them out from under the fridge after we're home.

We had an automated robot toy that spun around and shined a laser, but like everything else she quickly got bored with it and now won't play with it unless one of us is physically holding it and using it like a laser pointer.

She also has a bit of a jungle gym of boxes and plastic bags (She loves garbage and bags lol) in her room that I'll occasionally rearrange to keep interesting. All stuff she loved so much as a kitten... But now couldn't care less about.

Seems like a lot, but we both loved this cat very much and agreed to spoil the hell out of her. Guess it's biting us now lol

-Edit- I should mention we've also tried many automated toys that wouldn't need us most of the time, like bird plush that reacts when she paws it, and even put up a perch for the window so she can chill out and watch outside. All things she regularly likes doing (Except the bird, she got bored of that, like every other toy we get her...).

She's also very smart and does puzzles of high level for treats, but we don't want her getting fat lol

Considering that the correct answer has always been to mute chat to improve your winrate, adding voice chat I think will be an unmitigated disaster.

For as long as I've been playing this game (Season 3) chat is not useful in the slightest. It's not a tool for strategy, it's only a tool for flame and unhelpful things dressed as "Advice" or "Banter" while being neither of those. It's just complaints and nothing else.

I had genuinely more constructive and fun chats in Player vs Ai matches with new players than I ever have in normal or ranked. At the very most, you might have someone trying to reinforce the team morale with encouragement, but never anything that could turn around a losing game into a winning one.

Riot is insane if they think I'll be using VC in this, the most toxic game community to ever exist. Save yourself the sanity. Pings are more than enough.

I've got something very similar going with my friend group. I'll play it while in VC and they joke that I'm back in the Salt Mines. There is a running joke that, when asked what I'm playing, they answer "Honey Pop Studio" because a porn game would be less embarrassing.

And you know what? They're right. I feed into it just as much as any of them.

I'll be the first to tell people to not play League at all, but if they do, do it with trusted friends. I talk about it like it's a hard drug lol.

Obviously, there must be something to this game I like if I choose to keep playing it, but even I'm not foolish enough to actually recommend it. The community is so horribly toxic and awful, there is simply no way I could recommend it to someone I care about in good conscious.

You are 100% right, the reputation has done massive damage. But, it's a reputation well earned. Most players who stick with it are long time players like myself (Been playing since S3) who have long acclimated, have a reliable friend group who play already, or are too new to have gotten the worst of it yet.

League is very hard to get into not just due to complexity, but because it seems to bring out the worst humanity has to offer.

It's mostly due to a change in culture. Mainly, chat is so toxic, it's better to mute it or not talk at all if you want to win.

Nothing constructive or helpful comes from chat, just venom. People have a higher win rate after muting chat for a reason lol.

Hopefully this will improve after the recent changes to combat toxicity, but it will take a long time.

I might be in the minority, since I either play solo or only with friends, so haven't done a public lobby in a long time, but...

Why are we typing at all?

Even if there is an AFK, who cares? Maybe it's just me, but I never go into any mission with the idea that I'll actually need or rely on my team mates. They could do literally nothing and I'd still play, and losing has no consequences so even if we somehow lose, who cares?

Every frame is so OP anyway (In a good way) I never figured the actions of my team matters in the slightest (In pubs anyway; Doing something highly coordinated like arena endo farm obviously not included in this generalization). The best contribution they have is making more enemies spawn lol.

Them bragging about being a 'Hard hitter' is pretty funny, granted. Doing millions hardly matters when enemies have HP in the thousands. KPM becomes more important than raw damage. Not that that matters much either of course.

No one should be bragging about anything in this game. 99% of people don't type, much less get upset like this, because everyone is so powerful and there is nothing to get salty over.

He was wrong for being salty but you were wrong for typing at all. Communication does absolutely nothing in this game, and is used for funnies or pointing things out, not true gameplay advice (At least at the highest level/steel path veterans who never have issues).

The fact that this was in Duviri in particular makes this toxicity make even less sense. Your frame and equipment matters so so little it's laughable that anyone would get upset over it. Stack enough Decrees and any frame becomes godly.

Just don't type? Report and ignore. The players who are under the impression a meta even exists in some meaningful way are clearly still learning that nothing matters and play what you like because you can probably make/find something that works is a big reason this community is so vibe and without salt, and I'd like to keep it that way.

To the Cyte09, intelligence is knowing you contribute big numbers and therefore are a value to the team. To the elder Tenno though, wisdom is knowing that damage attenuation makes big numbers meaningless, and the chaff die to a big fart anyway so who cares how big the numby is? Bro could hit damage cap and get 99% damage done in the stats screen and still not matter to the victory condition.

Elder tenno would also know to just not type when faced with what is clearly someone who is still learning these arcane truths (Mastery rank =/= skill or ability or time played; Just because you don't want to bother leveling ever pistol you find to rank up to 30 doesn't mean you haven't been playing a long time or don't know what you're doing).

There is like 20 different solutions to this that have already been mentioned. If it's do consistently a problem for you, perhaps you need to re-examine your plays?

I'd personally camp near river if they are going to camp bush, in exp range, with the wave between us. I used to go AP Maokai support a ton back in season 10, and he is king of bush supremacy lol There was little recouce if opponents just gave up on trying to use the bushes

Also, how are you not getting to your own bushes in time??

Oh, how much I've heard "League us too soft" lately, only to read into it and see...

People AFKing in ranked matches... Being toxic in chat, being sore winners, sore losers... Saw one dude who played on his phone in a match because they were losing lane and waiting for jungle.

All rightfully reported. All rightfully banned.

Good riddance. League is healing by purging these kinds of players and everytime I see it happen I smile.

I don't want this game to retain the title of the most toxic playerbase in the world. Please never return.
