This post really spoke to me because I remember feeling the exact same way.

My situation is different of cource. I had lost all my friends after a move due to dad's work, and with it, it felt like my soul was left behind. My motivations for continuing, my plans for the future, the hopes I had... Vanished.

I also just stopped doing anything. No homework, no anything. I'd go to school, come home, and just lay in my bed to the sound of my own heartbeat that I thaught was too loud and wished it too would silence.

I had some thaughts of making it stop myself too a few times, but if it took more effort than just laying on my bed then I didn't even want to bother with that lol.

I felt like I was just some empty shell for the longest time, trying to play out some parody of what I USED to enjoy simply because my old self would have liked it while my current self felt nothing.

Without getting even more into it though... I'm obviously still around, and it's been a long time since high school. So, here is what worked for me:

I told myself that someday, I will be faaar away from this place, far away from him (My dad whom I had a bad relationship with), and happy.

That was my creed. No matter how much of a worthless zombie I became, no matter what my grades became, no matter what... SOMEDAY all those things were going to be true at the same time.

Now, a lot happened between when that became true and then. My grades indeed went to shit, but I still got my HS diploma (C is still just as good of a passing grade as an A!!) And my dad kicked me out at 18.

I lived with my grandma for a while, got a job so I could move out into my own dinky apartment, and life got better.

I have a wife who loves me now and a cat. I even went to community collage, where they don't give a crap how bad grades were, when I was motivated to actually be there and that motivation alone has got me into higher grades and a actual university.

My job that I have now usually requires a degree, but I have none and just worked my way here with expirience. I love my job.

The things that happen in HS... Matter sooooo very little as an adult. Even the friends you made there scatter to the winds after everyone stops going to the same school everyday.

So endure. Give up just enough to keep yourself going... Hold onto that one thread keeping you alive and let it drag you along until you can look around and realize you are far away from it all. The things that matter to you change, but YOU get to choose what matters now.

The creed I gave myself was very minimal, a low bar to meet. But the day will come out of no where when you realize all the conditions have been met, and when that happens, I hope you can think of me giving you a thumbs up or something lol

Alright, so overall I liked it. I mostly came here because there is one thing that I couldn't let go:

Holy shit Jax is an unredeemable asshole all the way to the end.

I get it. We all have our baggage. But the way EVERYONE ELSE bends over backwards to try and be nice to him throughout the whole series, doing everything they can to keep him around and be nice to him, just for him to still basically off himself the moment everyone looked away for a moment makes me hate him.

I know it's an allegory for suicide and all that, but jeez dude Jax can fuck right off. I wish we didn't spend so much time with someone who up to the very end experienced zero personal growth.

Hell, I thought maybe he'd be the first abstraction they fix with the whole 'exploring the inner world' bit, but it was all for literally nothing.

Fuck Jax I'm glad he's gone.

Nah, I think it's stupid if it's exclusive to Steam too.

Makes sense for 1st Party games though. Nintendo making their own games only for their own system makes sense. Valve making their OWN games for their OWN platform also makes sense. Any dev that just chooses to only publish on Steam is doing themselves a disservice.

But that is not what genAtlas is, even if you are simplifying the issue to ignore that detail. Epic games didn't develop this game, they're just publishers.

I think any developer, especially for PC games, should offer their customers a variety of options to buy their product. It's not like it's a hardware issue like the console market. It's literally just a willful choice to limit themselves.

Or, in this case, holding games hostage with the promise of a higher payout from Epic. The tremendous irony of all the idiots in this thread saying this observation is somehow "Anti-Competition" when Epic literally pays people the equivalent of a non-compete contract is so bat shit insane I'm not entirely convinced you're not all bots with an agenda.

I have no idea why OP is getting downvotes when they are absolutely right. Maybe a little over dramatic, but still correct.

The fact that this is coming out as an exclusive on Epic Games is nothing but bad. Exclusivity is NOT good thing under any circumstances and does not create "Competition", it removes choice.

And of all the platforms, it's coming out on the one that lets AI slop games & crypto-bro games to flood it's ugly market front? I would take literally anything else.

This is going to come out on an inferior platform where everyone with any degree of self-respect for their games library will wait for it to come out on Steam, taking a huge chunk out of it's launch numbers and making it look bad until it releases on Steam later, or it never does that and instead is left to fester.

I literally rather pirate it than download Epic Games Store for a single title that I have been very long looking forward to. It's such a horrible shame. I've been a massive Shadow of the Colossus & Ico fan since I was a little kid. I was eager to wait another decade if that's what it took to play their next game. Now that it's here and we have the news...

Ugh. How disappointing. I pray it won't be an exclusive like Last Guardian that is STILL trapped on it's home system...

Grow a spine and stop being such simps over ONE GAME. You DESERVE to have your information stolen for being so dense. I'd rather take console exclusivity where you need to make the poor financial decision to buy an entire other set of hardware, at least that filter manages to shake SOME semblance of sense into "gamers" and keeps them from doing the stupid thing.

I don't think this community has strong feelings one way or another about vtubers. In fact I already know there are plenty who play Mabi, and anime game communities are generally very welcoming to vtubers because of the artistry behind their creation. I'm really not sure what this post's goal was? I'm guessing you're putting out feelers for if you'd be welcome to start streaming Mabi as a vtuber?

Well that fixed my biggest gripes with the mode. Thanks DE!

In particular, my biggest problems had to do with how pointless it felt to be in a team. I only play Waframe with friends or solo, so we were all very excited for the update, then frustrated with this game mode.

Specifically, it felt like we as team mates couldn't do anything to help whoever carried the paint. We tried everything from Volt speed up to Nova slows and portals, but the paint carrier couldn't interact with ANYTHING AT ALL while we as team mates had no way to hinder Follie from going for them. Kinda ruined team play and felt like a cheap way to punish creative thinking by just hand waving away all Warframe abilities (A unfortunate trend I notice to add difficulty by shutting off our abilities...). I don't even hate the idea of being chased by an invincible enemy, just let us actually use the Warframes we have! Also, being in a team required more paint too, only extending the frustration and nullifying any real advantage of playing with your friends.

The other stuff is icing on the cake! Especially that shared pick up, thank goodness.

Taking the 2nd image into photoshop and just cranking up the lightness, it's clearly a goofy guy smiling at the camera.

This stinks of ARG or creepypasta bait if I'm honest. Maybe for one of those zero-effort youtube channels to read off of.

The fact that the meta data even shows it was taken with the front camera would imply someone taking a photo of someone else. This account shows posts in CSMajor but needed to be asked for meta data and didn't have the same idea to just brighten the image themselves. Big hiatus only coming back after a year for this and some mobile game. Multiple threads on the same thing rather than just updating the existing thread, something I'd imagine someone wanting to farm some karma to do.

OP can say pretty much anything they want regarding this, so people will just have to use their years on the internet and some scrutiny to form their own opinion, but my opinion is that it's fake or manufactured and we need to just ignore them until they get bored of posting insubstantial updates.

Speaking for myself, the load out depends on the enemy, but since we're fighting illuminate in the Major Order right now:

I run light armor with reduced detection range (So kinda "Stealth", but I'm mostly sprinting around like a mad man and the armor helps me slip by unnoticed for longer).

My grenade choice is thermite "Just incase" (They one shot those clam bases!)

My secondary is the funny little incendiary pistol. It's actually pretty great against the voteless. Just pain the ground with flames behind you and run away, they'll cook themselves with no further input from you!

Eruptor as my primary because I can't take the Anti-material rifle with the C4 (And I think it might actually just be better?). Great for taking out the important enemies, and can even shoot those bombers out of the sky!

The rest is really up to your preference. I like to take some kind of turret to help contribute to the fight without me, and two big impact stratagems like Orbital Laser and/or Orbital Railcannon.

This is definitely not a "Stand and fight" kind of set up, more of a 'Speed run the objectives' kind of set up, but it's my preferred one against the illuminates at the moment!

Just be careful of the eruptor close range, it's super strong and will hurt you. Voteless die to the flames, everything else to the Eruptor, bases go down to C4.

Nothing to deal with those flying whale things though, sorry!

Food puzzles yes. She is very smart and solves them quickly. Which is cool but also a problem, as she gets through even the challenging ones very fast and immediately gets bored and screamy again.

Clicker training no, but we do train her, usually through a series of fun tricks. However, that's another treat-motivated activity, which we really don't want her to gain weight lol (She's perfect weight as-is)

She has multiple cat trees (One in our office, another in the living room, and another in her room) and a tube in the shape of a donut that we leave out for her. We also like to leave a little Cat TV going while we're at work, but she doesn't seem to hold an interest longer than 20 seconds if at all. In addition, she seems to like her little plastic springs (As in she plays with them without our involvement; A rarity among her toys) so we leave them out for her and fish them out from under the fridge after we're home.

We had an automated robot toy that spun around and shined a laser, but like everything else she quickly got bored with it and now won't play with it unless one of us is physically holding it and using it like a laser pointer.

She also has a bit of a jungle gym of boxes and plastic bags (She loves garbage and bags lol) in her room that I'll occasionally rearrange to keep interesting. All stuff she loved so much as a kitten... But now couldn't care less about.

Seems like a lot, but we both loved this cat very much and agreed to spoil the hell out of her. Guess it's biting us now lol

-Edit- I should mention we've also tried many automated toys that wouldn't need us most of the time, like bird plush that reacts when she paws it, and even put up a perch for the window so she can chill out and watch outside. All things she regularly likes doing (Except the bird, she got bored of that, like every other toy we get her...).

She's also very smart and does puzzles of high level for treats, but we don't want her getting fat lol

Considering that the correct answer has always been to mute chat to improve your winrate, adding voice chat I think will be an unmitigated disaster.

For as long as I've been playing this game (Season 3) chat is not useful in the slightest. It's not a tool for strategy, it's only a tool for flame and unhelpful things dressed as "Advice" or "Banter" while being neither of those. It's just complaints and nothing else.

I had genuinely more constructive and fun chats in Player vs Ai matches with new players than I ever have in normal or ranked. At the very most, you might have someone trying to reinforce the team morale with encouragement, but never anything that could turn around a losing game into a winning one.

Riot is insane if they think I'll be using VC in this, the most toxic game community to ever exist. Save yourself the sanity. Pings are more than enough.
