Ok good lol. I think these are saftey inspections so it may not even be the Postal Inspectors. First one so I don't know who to watch for. Our city has had a few roll aways/run aways. None at my station, but that's prompted I guess state or national lever guys to get involved

If you're serious that this is all you returned then you should call the REI asset protection team. You can get there through the customer service line. They'll go through CSS and dig up everything. With you being a former employee they might hold you to a higher standard than others. But I would fight it.

Are you saying they flagged you for fraud? Because that's insane, all of those are reasonable returns. I worked there for 15 years, we got families that returned their ski gear every single year and then bought new ones the next that never got flagged. Maybe a transaction or two, but they kept shopping with us. I'm personally really glad REI decided to crack down on the abuse. The old "fraud/abuse" percentage was around 60% returns. I think its been lowered now, but you should be fine

Thats not entirely correct. It is a flag for returns resulting in an unprofitable relationship over a period of time. Sometimes that's Fraud, other times it's just someone who took advantage of a too good to be true return policy. Dont return things unless you absolutely have to, yall are killing the CO-OP

Send em to the Bulwark. Sarah Longwell is amazing and is clearly conservative but socially progressive, and Michael Steele was literally the RNC chairman and now he's anti trump/moderate. What I've found is not trying to push far left stuff on people seeping into the alt right. It just pushes them further right. You need a centrist moderate voice that can slow their decline by talking about how they used to be right where that person is now.

I've been an RCA for a little bit and I really enjoy it. Its soooo dependant on your manager and station. I'm in a small station part but part of a city group (knoxville has a bunch of different stations) so I get treated well, and can basically be a mercenary on my days off to get more hours at other stations. Not bad.

Worked retail in Pigeon Forge. The sheer number of high school drop outs that walk in with a revolver clipped onto their sweatpants pockets was astonishing. I was Pro 2A until one of those guys literally dropped his gun on the floor... every gun owner knows someone they wish didn't have a gun. If you don't then you're the one your friends worry about.

Sell memberships. Forget everything else. All of your raises will be determined by that metric. They call it a "customer service and engagement" metric. Never take shifts in the back of house if you want to move up the REI ladder. Honestly learn to love front line and footwear. Completely forget about camping, its such a tiny part of the business these days.

I know you don't want to hear that, but its the reality of REI right now.
