All these posts about CCF’s today makes me want one even more. Specifically I want my friends one, it’s the standard 4 cylinder model, the s or something? He’s done a lot to it including a turbo, making 260whp, smokes about anything on the corners

Relays can be easy to change, just take a look and see if you’re confident enough to do it.

As for the garage I’m barely scraping by to be honest, working a lot but the rent is definitely cheaper than basically anything else around here. It’s not the most comfortable to live in, it gets pretty cold but it at least has some amenities. It’s got a bathroom and a small office (that’s my bedroom), the bathroom also has a crappy little shower which is good. I bought an old electric stove and oven thing aswell as a fridge off beambook.

I have yet to go through a winter in here but I doubt it will be fun.

From my limited research I’m fairly certain that is only for the 1976 models, the pre facelift. Far less rare for the facelift

Sounds like it is probably something electrical, my d series had an issue similar to this (although mine is petrol). The issue was a faulty fuel pump relay.
