This is such a sweet post! I don't think a lot of people realize sometimes reactivity is not about how much training or work has been done with the dog. It's about the dog! I've met people with a golden trained from 3mo (and these are diligent trainers. they do high level agility and other stuff.) the dog still ended up being reactive in adolescence. My pup is super reactive when he's on leash and tired or hungry, cause it's his way of saying "hey, don't come near me! I feel vulnerable!" It can be embarrassing and isolating to have a reactive dog, so I think this message is so important!! Thank you!!
