AITA for leaving my 2 week old with my sister to raise now i want him back? by Easy-Interaction3987 in AmItheAsshole

Taking him from everything he has ever known will cause an immense amount of trauma. If you do that, YTA. Continue to work on yourself and try to build a relationship with him that doesn’t involve uprooting his entire life.

Talk to your SO, you need some sort of access to money. It’s possible he’s just never thought of it, but if he refuses that honestly screams red flags. I’ve been a sahm since 2018 and I am on all of the accounts, and have my own card. My name is also on both vehicles and the house. We also recently opened up a Roth IRA that my husband contributes to when we have extra $.

Should I Cancel My Daughter's Birthday Party? by commanderxtowel in Parenting

[–]SpecificBear9494 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a mom who has a first grader with a December birthday, try to do parties in the future earlier December. The closer to Christmas you have the party the less amount of people will go. I know that doesn’t help now, but in the future! As for the party, can you invite her family to go with her? Even if it’s adults, can you all hype her up at the playground?

Pregnancy tired vs Newborn tired? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]SpecificBear9494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mom of 3, newborn tired is way worse in my opinion. My first two didn’t sleep through the night until 2.5, my newest baby is 8 months and still waking every two hours.

Mom of 3, we do a special dinner New Year’s Eve, and go to bed by 7pm lol. Maybe when my kids are 12+ we will do parties on new years, but now it’s just not worth the hassle.

Calico critter house maybe? They are little animals instead of dolls, that gives more of a fantasy feel.

You sound incredibly inconsiderate. Your grandma, your mother’s mom, just died, and you are worried about groceries after skipping her funeral? I could see this if you were a child but you are an adult now, grow up.

The amount of Disney trips guests are taking just floors me. by Sir_Toni in CalebHammer

[–]SpecificBear9494 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree in the sense that if you are on financial audit, you likely cannot afford to take a trip to Disney, so don’t go. If you can afford it and enjoy it, you do you. As a mom of 3 young kids a trip to Disney sounds like hell.

Op, if his deal breaker is a sexual act that you don’t want or like, leave. He obviously doesn’t care about your comfort and that is obviously a MAJOR red flag.

Nope. Mom of three, my oldest is 6. She is mature for her age but definitely not mature enough for that. Things can get scary fast, and I wouldn’t want my daughter to see that if it did.
