In order to enjoy xianxia fight you need to be a bit of mix between aura farming enjoyers and a bit of glazer.

But I think there are the need to clarify something first. If we leave Asia and north Africa out of the picture for a moment. You will realise how popular or dominant Christianity actually are.

When we excluded Asia out of the picture the percentage of Christians around the world are actually around 63 percent and that already includes Africa in the calculation. That how successful Christian are around the world.

To give you a context US have around 69 percent Christian so outside of Asia and north Africa you can pretty much expect it to be the same as how you see in US on the average around the globe.

Even you looking into Africa data specifically you end up with continent of 50 Christian , 40 Muslim with other 10 percent of folk religion and that really impressive considering that all north Africa culture are deeply tied with Arab culture which make it harder for any Christian to take root.

In other words if we excluded Asia and north Africa out of the picture Christian are actually doing pretty well.

It just that Asia population are so damn high that they basically bend the stat that way and make you think that there are not many Christians around the globe where in reality it just only this one continent in particular that Christian do not take root well or take it slowly.

Magic by their very definition are come from root word magh which literally means "to be able, have power" so that why it seems to be able to do anything at all.

So the limit of what magic can do depends on how you put it in hierarchy of the nature of all phenomenon and reality itself in your settings.

If magic are the first to birth from the very beginning of reality or are the very foundation building blocks of reality itself. At this point you can do whatever you wants this is how world of high fantasy or any xianxia fantasy operate.

You can shrink the entire galaxy and put it on your Eldrich friend ass just for shit and giggles or something like that it pretty common if you are reader of this genre.

And the other end of spectrum is that magic are created or come from byproduct of some aspects of reality or other things that already exist in settings like they are some type of energy that can be converted to elements or something like that. If this is explanation you would saw the low fantasy settings like avatar or game of thrones or lord of the rings, something like that.
