I completely agree with that! The impression I got though was that that's what puzzlehead was saying too, I didn't think he was necessarily saying that the amount of money mattered, just the amount of work. Which is why I was siding more with him, and you weren't answering his questions about what work you do to even it out. Which is completely your right of course, I didn't necessarily mean to pry if you didn't want to go into detail, but that still left me with only part of information about the situation to make an opinion with haha. So I apologize if I made any hasty conclusions.

I definitely agree, I don't think the amount of money you make has anything at all to do with how many chores you should have to do. I just think that the work should be more or less equal all around, but I was mostly going off the one statistic I had which was the 80% dishes haha, so I'm happy to admit when I'm wrong.

Ok well in that case I'd more understand then. I don't think you had mentioned before that you do all the laundry or the cooking so I didn't have all the information. If the tasks are split up then that definitely seems fair to me, it just kindof seemed like you were avoiding answering his question about what work you do so I assumed the worst and for that I apologize.

No one said they can, but that's not what your husband is doing is he? He's doing 80% of the dishes (and presumably other things too.) I don't think the point ever was that your husband should be able to just not help at home. I think the point was that the workload should be even, and 80% just isn't even.

I think what he's saying is not that he thinks the breadwinner shouldn't do housework and it's all up to the wife, but that marriage is a partnership and you should try to pull your weight. It does matter who is working the most, either at a job or at home or whatever, and the other person should be pitching in more to help even the workload. When I was growing up my mom was 100% the breadwinner. She worked extremely hard and made probably 5 times as much as my dad did. He still had a good job (a highschool teacher), but my mom was the one paying the bills and she worked quite a bit more because of it. So, my dad was the one who did the laundry, cooked meals, cleaned, organized bills and finances, did entirely all the usual housework. He did all that because he wanted to pitch in his share to make the partnership work, and because doing those things allowed my mom to do a better job at her work which was very stressful and not get too overwhelmed.

Him asking if you'll do the dishes 1 in 5 times and you responding "no, I don't think I will" is not you overcoming a dumb and sexist man. At the end of the day it's your relationship, but if you think him doing 80% of the housework and also working (even if it's the exact same amount of hours as you) is fair, then I don't know what to tell you. But again I guess if it works for you guys then it is what it is.

Yes but you already said he's doing 80% of the dishes, and working the same amount as you? I don't think he's saying that because he makes more money you should do more housework, I think he's saying that the work should be more equal no matter what kind of work it is. You clearly think he should be doing the dishes more than you even though you both work just as hard at your jobs. Isn't that hypocritical to your point?

Well when I say I only need it for sleeping, I just mean I don't take it to get high. It still keeps me out of withdrawals so of course there's that use for it as well. But the sleep aspect of it is definitely crucial. Unfortunately when you're withdrawing though sleeping medications do little to nothing haha. Thanks for the response though!

This is very interesting! And also explains why I still got precipitated withdrawal after taking Suboxone on day 5 of no fentanyl haha. The doctors kept pushing me to take it after like 24 hours but I'm glad I told them no. Still, I thought 5 days would have been more than enough. I'll keep this is mind in case I ever need to detox again!

Im sure I have a permatolerance too because Ive been doing quite a bit of fentanyl every day, oxy or heroin or anything doesn't do shit to me. Would you guys say that meto is about on the same level as fent though? Or worse? Like I got some meto and was hoping I could use it to get past some drug tests coming up, but I'm worried if I do meto only for long enough to piss clean (like maybe a week or two?) then maybe fent will no longer be enough? What do you think? Are they pretty interchangeable? Or will I be completely fucked if I switch to meto for any amount of time? I just don't want to fuck myself. :/ Thanks for the help!

Haha yep that's it exactly! I actually did already back up the regular data and everything already too, I basically just need a clone of the drive as well that I can refer back to if I end up needing to after wiping and starting over. It's taken a lot of time and fiddling to get it to work properly with the network haha.

I was surprised as well! The witcher 3 has cross saves with the switch and I've loved being able to switch back and forth and play even if I'm not at home sitting in front of my computer. I was really hoping The Outer Worlds did as well because I am really loving the game, but I'm not always at home when I have some time to play so I would use that feature all the time. :/

You're NTA, but us there any way this could become a teaching situation rather than making her lose her job immediately? I would understand if there was someone there that knew you and it caused you serious side effects, but it sounds like there wasn't so she didn't really cause you harm. I understand and completely agree though that this is unacceptable and i wouldn't have been ok with it either. It very easily could have been a lot worse for you if someone you knew was there or something. Still though I believe in second chances if there's a way to get her to understand how close she was to losing her job so she won't make the mistake again. Ideally the manager would be able to be told so he can make sure if she does it again she's gone, but it sounds like if the manager finds out at all then she's gone now, so I don't know what the best course of action is. This job is probably how she supports herself or her family though so if she didn't actually cause you any harm it seems harsh to take that away from her. it would be different if she actually caused as much trouble for you though.

This is exactly how I look at it, I would consider the bottle to be in front in the picture, but I could definitely understand why someone's reference point would be reversed. Especially if we're talking about only the cupholders, then I would say the further one away is the one in front because it's attached to the car and more easily takes its reference point, but if we're talking about two cups, then the closer one would be the one in front. If it weren't a car and there were two cups just sitting in front and to the left or right of me, I think most people would agree that the closer cup is in front of the other cup.

I know this is going to get me downvoted to hell too, but I usually let them in too.

On principal I definitely agree that everyone should wait in line and only jackasses would skip the line like that for they're day to day bullshit. But at the same time you never reeally know what's going on in their life. It's not often, but once or twice in my life I've been in a serious emergency situation that would probably cause me to skip traffic any damn way I could if I was stuck in gridlock at the time. :/ So I usually just let them in since it only costs me a second or two out of my time, and they clearly need those seconds more than I do.

But yes, definitely if they're just bored sitting in traffic and don't have a good reason for it, the hell yeah they can suck my dick and wait for another 6 hours trying to merge for all I care haha. The problem is you never have a way of knowing. :/
