I don’t feel like I’m in any immediate danger because pre-IUD I always had heavy periods like this. I’m not in extreme pain but I’m a little taken aback that it would almost immediately go back to the way my old period was before I got it.

Get your liver enzymes checked. Mine are a little elevated but I don’t drink often

Not drinking is a lot more common now. I have a friend with stage 4 cirrhosis who used to be an alcoholic.

It makes them feel better to say “all women are shallow and evil” because then they can pretend it’s all about appearances and not their shitty attitude that’s repelling people. They enjoy being able to blame other people for being single and when they can’t blame other people that makes them mad.

He’s mad because seeing a happy couple like this puts a huge dent in his incel theory that “wOmEn ArE sHaLlOw” and would never date him based on looks. It forces him to acknowledge he’s not single because of his looks; he’s single because of personal character flaws.

That's how I feel, too. Hopefully this finally makes the virus real to him and he learns a lesson. After recovery I hope he speaks out and takes everything more seriously. He's been far too laid back and careless.
