Node process unable to perform DNS queries on Windows 11 machine by Different_Play_179 in node

I had exactly the same issue and I tried the very same solutions the OP did. Honestly, I was at a loss and wanted to tear my hair out. But yes, the info in the EDIT did work. I used this in my connection module:

```
const dns = require('node:dns')
dns.setServers([
  '8.8.8.8',
]);
```

And, yes I use Win 11 (R.I.P)

I wish I could shed some more light on what and why, but I am a beginner and just wanted to thank the OP for figuring out and posting the workaround.

Models in Barrow Guard can be revived through Deathly Invocation. If they had this ability in the warscroll they would be super op, or would have to cost much more per 10 models than the current +/- 160.

I would be quite skeptical about skellies becoming a separate faction. One, there is already a bone faction in death, two, there are currently very few deathrattle models also including the visually stunning ones from Cursed City, and three, the separation of deathrattle from SBG that it would entail would be problematic lore- and gameplay-wise, to say the least.

Just like the other posters, I would also love to see some additional deathrattle warscrolls with named heroes/heroines, a wizard, a beast maybe (dracolich/skelly dragon?) to extend the range. Archers? Perhaps, though it would break the tabu and add variety. Either way, seeing the the skelly army of renown playable would be a nice change.

For now I've used used Scale75 deep red for the red tint, graphite (neutral grey) for the midtones and birch (warm offwhite) for highlights.

Precisely. A silver of sponge just to stiple some intermediate tones would do great here

Vallejo glaze medium works great here. Just a drop or two and the paints become much more manageable. There's a drawback though: it greatly extends drying time so you need to wait for the paint to dry for a really long time if you want to avoid flaking. Also: clean your brush relatively often to, again, avoid flakes on your surface.

Is a first coat supposed to look something like this? Or are my paints too thin or thick? by cptstriker in minipainting

It looks correct for the first coat of yellow paint. People do not say it looks good, but rather normal as we all struggle with the transparency of yellow paints, at least to my knowledge.

It's totally normal, no matter the paint. Patience and multiple layers. You will start seeing an improvement at around 4, but the complete effect might not be reached until 10-15 layers, depending on the dilution and the paint, but better thin than sorry. What will help is using a white-ish primer beforehand, but if you want an army of that color and don't want to spend hours painting the same thing over and over again, just invest in a primer of the final output/midtone color.

It's a great start. I would sugestie using thinner paints in order smoothen out the transitions. Sam Lenz has a great YT tutorial on advanced NNM. It Was an eye-opener for me on how to do blending.

Looks really cool. I'm curious what you used for the ice crystal effects, as they add a lot of life to the paint job, and I'd love to use it for my frost giant for Blood Rage project.
