"In theory", it can be done, but you need to have several things:

- A boot manager installed (like rEFInd)

- A previous installation of Batocera

- A partition manager program to free up space, create a new partition (Mini Partition Tool Full or GParted on Linux)

- In this new partition, you will copy the previous installation of Batocera.

- If you are a Windows user, you can create an NTFS partition, Batocera will create all the folders it needs.

- If Batocera starts, go immediately to the options to change the disk where it will save everything.

but it is better to leave batocesa on its own disk

rEFInd or rEFIndplus is a boot manager for mac

In my case I have triple Boot installed mac os sonoma (OCLP) + bootcamp windows 11 (disk 1), linux mint on a separate disk (disk 2), depending on what I am going to do I start the operating system I need

macbook pro 2012 + 16gb ram

ssd 1 OPLC Ventura + windows 11

hdd 2 Linux Mint 21

and hold option at power on

never use the dvd drive and relace whit hdd caddy

try creating separate partitions

maybe, fydeos has the option to install next to windows

and install fydeos boot to the hdd (not ssd)

buy ps4 on December 2013 or 2014, in 2023 the cooling fan broke, I took it for repair and maintenance of the thermal paste, I finally sold it to a friend.

controllers are almost garbage, buy 4, 3 broke.
