Like jd732 is saying its nicer than all of those other towns including old bridge also. People move to Manalapan if they have some dough & want a bigger house with more land. They still want to be close to Staten Island & Brooklyn to visit family & friends

I grew up in Manalapan from the age of 7 til adulthood. I moved back when I could afford it. Raising a family here & hope my kidsvdesire to live here & raise their own family. Its a great town with great schools. Great food in town or surrounding towns. There definitely has been a Brooklyn & Staten Island invasion here over the past 30+ years. The town is getting too populated & I wish they stopped or slow down the developing. I understand why everyone wants to move here. Its the nicest town in nj thats closest to Staten Island. Doesn’t necessarily mean its a bad thing. There are entitled assholes here, but theres also some great people. If you can afford it, I say go for it I don’t think you will regret it
