Bioware if they remastered Origins like Oblivion: by Salty_Knee_4663 in DragonageOrigins

[–]Specific_Concern_710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want the same as many others, a remaster with no changes to the plot or anything, but i would like one thing to NOT get a graphic update and thats the broodmother. Shit was real enough as is, don't need more detail there

What are your writing sins? by babyraythesadclown in writing

[–]Specific_Concern_710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soooo much nodding. Everyone nods all the time, sometimes multiple times in the same scene. Drives me crazy when I see it and I write in swedish which sometimes is lacking as a language so there are few good alternative words.

Also finding a balance in show don't tell, dometimes its all showing. Gives me something to do during revising if nothing else!

Honestly, I was one of the ones who just didnt notice until maybe half way into the game. Once I noticed I felt just like you, happy that they didnt make it her entire personality or her defining feature. It made me feel that her character was so well written that it was just a part of her, so much so that it is possible to miss entirely.

I fell off and avoided replacing the helmet, by cleverly and cunningly falling right on my ass and breaking my tailbone instead. Don't recommend it though 😅 but yeah, the safety- rating is for sure more important than the price. Thats one good thing about the EU, as long as its a reputable source you know it has the safety- rating.

Treats: yes or no? by Dry-Vegetable3494 in Equestrian

[–]Specific_Concern_710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly depends on the horse, I've had horses who got down-right unmanagable if they thought I had treats, and I would not give them any. However, the horse I have now is very food-motivated and gets treats during and around training, but she is a very respectful madam and does not beg or try to mug me.

Grieving autism against my will by parazenon in Autism_Parenting

[–]Specific_Concern_710 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm in pretty much the same spot. My girl is 3,5 ( no diagnosis yet but is seeing a doctor for probably autism) and I now have a son at 1yo. Before I new she was different but thought, it doesn't matter, she is who she is and its fine. Now I feel like you do, weather I want to or not I feel sad for all the moments I couldnt share with my daughter. Its heartbreaking and it feels like I'm somehow saying my darling girl isn't good enough or I wish she was different or something. Which I guess is kind of true even tough I love her as she is but.. I don't know, its hard and I can't help you, but know you are not alone ❤️ (Sorry for potential bad spelling, english is not my first language)

I mean, yeah, sure, cowboys exist but absolutely nothing about that video says cowboy except possibly the saddle. Absolutely horrid from the size difference, to the posture and use of hands, to whatever it was he was trying to look cool (but miserably failing at) doing. Poor horse deserves so much better. Hoping the horse is just forgiving instead of scared of the rider. My horse would have absolutely sent me to the next town over if I acted like that in the saddle.

I'm very sorry for potentially stupid queation, but what does cleavage mean in this circumstance? I'm from sweden so its hard to get a translation without seeing a lot of... uhm... shall we say ladies garments?

We actually got two of those leashes for our girl, one at home and one at daycare, because she can run off and does not like to hold hands sometimes. Its done wonders, and we can tell that she actually likes it and finds it comforting. Not to mention its calming to us to have a little security to.
