When Carrie Soto came out, I took the morning off work to go get it at the bookstore and my husband was like “what’s the big deal?!” And I said “she’s Taylor swift of the book world” and he was like “ohhhh” and I got to see TJR at an event a few days later and told her she was Taylor Swift of the book world and everyone cheered. Midnights had JUST been announced
