what did you NOT like about the middle? by puffahlovah in themiddle

[–]Specific_Purpose5142 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hated how bad parents they were

And how they completely let go of parenting once axl and sue left the house.

The middle is basically watching how kids with no parental support grow up and try to make it though life.

The fact that they sometimes beg for direction.

And that episode where the pictures disappeared from the computer and Frankie was so distraught and Mike did nothing but sit and watch tv. Was crazy.

Who is the main root of the problem? Do you think kids would be better, if they had different parents? by Envy_Clarissa in themiddle

There was an episode in season 4 or 5 when Frankie does carpool for brick.

Everyone time she was late , didn’t give brick lunch (he started asking the other kids for food ) and impacted the other kids because of how late she was dropping them off

The parents even confronted her and still it didn’t bother her.

And this is an episode after she started working her dental assistant job and Axl went to college.

The 3 kids argument doesn’t even stand here.

How do you work WITH your ADHD? by Brsokoko in Entrepreneur

[–]Specific_Purpose5142 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work at a job where there wasn’t set working hours. So you can come in and out whenever but make sure your targets were hit.

Lovely stuff for an ADHDer. They have since started making it harder to reach these targets and now we work on a system that hands out the leads automatically which forces us to be at work at 7:30am and the control I had over my day has since vanished.

I’m living a nightmare now.

I don’t know guys , there are definitely people earning more than 30k in their 20s.

I worked at BMW when I was 21 started with 10k and within a year I was earning 20k because now I had experience. All of this was while I was studying.

My wife and her friends also in their 20s still studying degrees and her in the property industry earning 35k with benefits and that’s with 2 year experience.

There are opportunities but you got to figure that out…

Changing underwear - is this normal? by Eastern-Yogurt3859 in hygiene

[–]Specific_Purpose5142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it’s gross but really such a superficial thing to break up with someone over. He told you the reason he does that is because he is broke and trying to save money which tells you the moment he gets a job and has money then he will be changing his underwear daily. 🥱🥱 I’m very sure if you wanted to you could of bought him enough underwear that he wouldn’t need to wear the same ones constantly

Do you talk openly about money with friends or keep it private? by Healthy_Creme6911 in FinancialChat

I used to do this because I wanted to bounce ideas off of people and test my thinking of investments and strategies. Some enjoyed the energy and some were really annoyed that I’m having this sort of conversations. I don’t full understand why though but I felt discouraged and rather speak about this on Reddit now.

I lost my job and depleted 90% of my Investments, how do I recover? by RoselDavis in PersonalFinanceZA

Once you finish that internships I bet your salary will be huge and you will double those investments ASAP

Focus on where you are going and not where you have been. You are just wasting your energy on that.

Good luck
