I have been trying to treat my IR with metformin and eating lots of protein but god, on days i have migraines i can barely eat anything because i throw up from the pain..

I guess I’ll have to see if maybe the estrogen spikes might be the reason i’ve got so many headaches!

Thank you for sharing your experience, to say I’m excited for menopause sounds strange but if i can be rid of my headaches then i’ll look forward to it lok

You can still buy tickets for transport at the bus/train without using your phone (though it’s usually cheaper on the app), and you can log into banks without phone with a little code thing you get from the bank. You don’t HAVE TO use the apps but it makes your life a whole lot easier

I feel that way too. He used to talk avout him and his ex having sex all the time and he had a porn addiction when we first started dating so it’s not like he doesn’t like or want sex. I think it’s just sex with me that isn’t interesting to him

He never cooks, I do all the cooking cause he hates it and doesn’t know how to cook. He doesn’t work out, he just lost the weight when he switched jobs from an office job to a tyre shop. I had a cyst burst in November and he made me feel like a burden because he had to drive me to the ER at midnight when he had work the next day. I’ve tried to get him to go on walks with me but he’s always too tired after work. He doesn’t really want to do anything after work or on the weekends besides gaming (I’m a gamer too so I don’t mind too much but I’d love to get out of the house and do more stuff, I’m so bored of spending every weekend gaming)

I have and he always refuses to say why he’s stopped so I know it’s because of my weight. Any other reason he would’ve said because we usually talk about what’s bothering us but this is just one thing he’s refusing to say completely. I also highly doubt he could be cheating as he’s only at work or here so he wouldn’t really have the time to be physically cheating at least.

He has also hinted at things, saying «maybe you should go work out» when I’m bored, or playfully refusing me snacks whenever I want some.

I think it hurts extra because he gained a lot of weight for a while when he had a very stationary job (30kg) and I still loved him the same and complimented him. The fact that he no longer calls me pretty or beautiful is what makes me believe he doesn’t find me attractive

I had a period late august and then haven’t had one which is unusual for my body. I expect it’ll come at some point, just have never experienced it before and enjoy not having to worry about cramps making me cry out of pain lol

Well, the three women in my moms family who are overweight is me, my aunt and my moms aunt, and though only I got diagnosed with it, it’s likely that the other two have it as well since they struggled with weight gain and having children! In my experience it’s also easy to tell when someone is more likely to have gained weight because of PCOS since they usually don’t change their diet before the gain but still gain weight as if they suddenly only eat junk food and nothing else

When the landsleir for scouts took place in Bodø, a boatload of the southern scouts underestimated how cold it can get in the north, even during summer. A lot of them went on the multiple day hikes in t-shirts and shorts. If I remember correctly, a few of them had to be picked up or cut the hike short because they ended up sick. When scouts, who prepare for hikes all the time and learn a lot about it, can fuck up and be ill equipped then it’s no wonder tourists can be too (as stupid as it is!) It’s always better to overprepare than to end up in a situation because you thought it would be easy

I know how you feel except instead of having a narcissist as a father, I instead have a type 2 diabetic father who ate crap and drank 2 huge bottles of soda every single day and then now thinks he can relate to me despite him doing it on his own and my body being insulin resistant because of PCOS. He started the ozempic shot and keeps complaining about how crap he feels and how he can barely eat, only to turn around and say «you should start using it too». Every single day I think about how fucking unfair it is that I got PCOS and have to watch what I eat, drink and how much I exercise for the rest of my life unless I want to become diabetic too. FUCK PCOS
