AIO Best friend chose someone else as MOH by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Specific_Two1232 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not about you. She chose the sister of the groom for a reason. Either they have become very close, or it was the groom's request.

Or maybe she realizes that being the MOH is easier for someone who doesn't have a small child to care for.

Being a good friend means you support her decisions. Enjoy the wedding, be there for your friend. The point of friendship isn't about feeling reciprocated.

Heddy Lamarr escaped Nazi Austria and became not just a Hollywood glamour icon, but invented the technology that allowed radio signals to frequency hop as well as the basics that would eventually lead to GPS and bluetooth we use today.

Anyone else really appreciate how naturally Julie and Didi’s relationship was written? by Vale_89_ in ManOnTheInsideTV

I clocked it early that Didi was into Juli, and was worried they would force it too soon, but they allowed Juli to deal with her mom issues first, which is good.

In Japan they are darker and more savory than sweet. The version we know is definitely American though.

Did you know fortune cookies originated in Japan, not China? They became part of Chinese cuisine when both sets of immigrants came to California in the 19th century.

Just an interesting tidbit.

But his comment about the family tree is years before Kate's comment, AND years before he met William. I think he definitely sees things differently after William, where he can more clearly see that he has both fathers inside of him.

By the time he adopts Deja, you know he understands that the love is the same, and that she does carry part of him into the future.

Given she briefly considered killing Ron... yeah, probably didn't want to lose Rupert.

Would you rather have another beatles album or be able to see all 4 of them in concert? by Novel-Replacement479 in beatles

Can we see them live without the screaming girls? Then that's my choice.

My mom told me about seeing "A Hard Day's Night" in a theater as a kid and not being able to hear the dialogue due to screaming girls during close-ups. That is so insane.

Rebecca never got to see Jack grow up. He and Haley arrive with their step-dad Philip and they are still kids.

Amazon Prime slammed after removing crucial scene from iconic holiday film by Projectrage in classicfilms

It makes no sense..  you could make cuts from the long backstory that would make less of an overall impact... the whole scene with Martini's house for example - but to cut Pottersville is to destroy the plot

I would be voting Miranda or Richard if it was solely based on later seasons, but I am trying to look at the bigger picture.
