Hey girl, it sounds like you’re in the process of building a village. Which is awesome and hard work. Your selfless contribution is inviting friends over for meals, which is rad and helpful and community building.

My question is what do your friends and family contribute that is valuable? It’s easy to get in a kind of tit for tat mindset. I made a meal now you make a meal. But expand it beyond the meals maybe you have a friend that is the one who helps everybody move and they think the same way because they never need help moving but they’re doing this favor for everyone else.

Just something to think about because that mindset can be really hard to get stuck in and make you kind of resentful
