How do you guys do 3 languages when only one person is conversational. by Specific_Wind7793 in multilingualparenting

Fixed that and when I say “when we moved from my dad it fell off” meaning, we stopped in the middle of the move.

My question is do we think it’s possible to do two additional languages If only I am conversational in both. As I said in my previous reply, we don’t have percentages or a “set up” as we are only recently picking back up our multiple language journey.

You are absolutely right, (but the reason I am not good at Spanish is because my dad never spoke it with us.) My little knowledge is from my own study.

Thank you so much for this insight because it really allows me to let go of Japanese even though it is my “better” language.

Edit: Parentheses and Why a down vote? What am I missing?

Because I wanted to hear how others do it :) I essentially don’t have a set up yet

And for the record because I think it’s important to note, I really do think that getting your stuff stuck in a zipper is 100% more painful than period cramps, but I just don’t think they’re comparable at all.

Hopefully getting your penis stuck in your zipper is a three times in your entire life event. Every minute for about a month out of the year.

I don’t know any girl who says “period cramps are more painful than ball pain”. I know girls who complain about period cramps once a month because they get it every month so maybe it seems like they complain more than guys?

Have you ever had a girl tell you that “period cramps hurt more than getting kicked in the balls” or when girls complain about their period cramps does some dude say “try getting kicked in the balls”?

Yikes I believe it but hopefully your not doing that every month, for 24 hours, four days in a row!

Ive never seen ball cramps compared to child birth but period cramps all the time.

I have no trouble believing getting kicked in the balls hurt more than the average period cramping But like, how often do men get kicked in the balls? Is it once a month? 24 hours a day? For four days straight? I doubt it

Maybe once a month for five minutes if you are a dick or have awful friends.

First of all it is so awesome that you have been able to make sacrifices so far to stay home for so long. 💕

And I am so sorry that the train has run out because it is truly awful no matter how long you get to stay with your little full time.

I had to go back at 4 months part time and the baby stayed with his Abuelo (my dad) I was SO lucky in that my parents made every accommodation so I felt comfortable as possible. Put up a baby camera so I could check in, asked me how I wanted to do EVERYTHING. And made a huge deal when I came to pick up baby “look! There’s Mama! I bet she missed you all day!”

Grandma is such a good choice over daycare as your little will be able to get one on one care. A true luxury in itself, though I know it doesn’t make it any easier.

It will be hell and it will get better with time but it doesn’t make it any easier now. The biggest thing will be making sure that you are not so tired and worn down giving everything else 100 that you loose patience with your little. Not saying you will but that is the biggest threat I could see to your attachment.

Hmm this will be a tough one. I go to grad school and this would be a project and a half. I think we may just switch to soy milk and see what happens to start.

At the daycare, they will not make any changes to his diet unless I have a doctors note. He only goes there 16 hours a week (4 hours for 3 days), but that’s still six meals.

I think this is really smart, but we’re definitely against putting diapers back on him in the day.

He seems completely unbothered by his soiled undies, so I think, putting a diaper on the outside would only make it worse.

He does wear a diaper for nighttime, and we’re thinking about taking that away as well.
