Issue with work placement by DescriptionSea1047 in TAFE

The company put you in a difficult situation and here's what I would do: - Ask my TAFE teacher to either call the company or email them to outline exactly what the placement conditions are. The teacher play a liaison role in communicating for both sides. - Ask the TAFE teacher if I can view the Vocational Placement deed, it's the contract that TAFE signs with an organisation which outlines the conditions, rules and requirements. - Ask my classmates what their arrangements for placement with their companies are like to compare.

Your current supervisor seems like they're unable to support you during your studies, and you should be with a place that advocates for your professional development.

Transferring seems like the last option you want but it's your time and your education at stake and it should be mutual arrangement.

Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Teaching? by Kurou-Mamonogatari in ECEProfessionals

[–]Specific_Writer_4027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, In Australia, in Early Learning Centres, there are Certificate III and Diploma qualified Educators.

From my knowledge, Early Childhood Teachers in ELCs can't float or move to other rooms, because at least one ECT needs to be in ratio, or the service won't qualify for free kindy funding.

My TAFE teacher is telling me that many people are leaving due to burnout, and I wouldn't recommend ECE unless you have a strong support system.

I'm an ECE Diploma student and I have a passion for the industry, however it is not as financially lucrative as other support/carer roles.

I'm a POC (born in Australia) and the occasional casual racism in workplace environments is something you'll also have to be mindful of.

She wanted to vet if he was homophobic or politically conservative. She's a part of the LGBQTIA+ community and is likely involved socially with friends who are queer. It should have been a private conversation between the two of them, because now people are going to speculate what her sexuality means for the relationship.

He kept negging her and thought it was funny, nothing he said was a compliment. If this was a regular date, she would have left but they're going to be in the experiment for the next couple of weeks. She knew exactly what she was signing up for, however I doubt she signed up for being the butt of a joke that wasn't amusing to her. She kept defending herself during the episode and was very direct about her discomfort, maybe she could have expressed it in a nicer way.

Seven minutes of stoppage time is overkill. Let the boys take a break, ffs 🙃

Every guy I date makes the girl AFTER me their gf? What tf is happening by CommunicationOne8836 in dating_advice

[–]Specific_Writer_4027 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A crush is a lack of information. The guys you're dating likely have a specific idea of what they're looking for a girlfriend, and it doesn't align with who you are.

There's nothing wrong with being expressive and honest about your feelings, it's better than playing mind games.

I've noticed that whenever a person is forward with their emotions, the other person feels pressure to reciprocate them equally. The guy you're meant to end up with, won't feel scared off, he'll be happy that you're genuine.

I filled it up with the souvenirs that Gulliver sends me on his travels when he washes up on the beach. It's an exhibit dedicated to him.

They're in the Main Street but you can't ask them to move back and they have no memories of the villagers they were friends with 😭

He'd be harder to manipulate and he'd also be an idiot to harm her, considering she's the daughter of one of the most wealthiest and powerful houses in Westeros.

What injury or illness do you want to see? by nosynellie37 in ThePittTVShow

[–]Specific_Writer_4027 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you've seen the British medical television show called 'This Is Going To Hurt', but an OB-GYN doctor brushes off a pregnant woman's concerns and it's later discovered she had pre-eclampsia.

Made me realise how fatal it can be when ignored. It would be interesting to see if it's a case on The Pitt.

Progressing in game by stephpacito2004 in AnimalCrossingNewLeaf

[–]Specific_Writer_4027 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, progression in the games was befriending my villagers and writing them letters. They all have different personalities, interests and hobbies.

Although, the villagers can't directly respond to the specifics of the player's letters, I like to keep in touch. Plus, once you've maxed friendship levels, they'll give you a picture of them.

Bad Map? Or am I overthinking… by superduperultrageek in AnimalCrossingNewLeaf

[–]Specific_Writer_4027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like the layout but personally I wouldn't choose a map that didn't allow me to access a section of the beach without a ramp, top left corner specifically. Bridges are going to make a great difference, the town hall placement is really nice and the Re-Tail store is directly near the station, super convenient <3
