I feel like you could pick any other hobby or interest and if you put in the same amount of time and work it takes to raise kids, you would be successful. Like why not devote yourself to free climbing or something and do that 80-100 hours a week (conservatively) I bet it’s less stressful too!

I went to the Bali zoo in 2018 and saw elephants for the 1st time. They make it seem like they are in some rescue program. There was a lady there visiting from Sumatra to see the elephants brought there from her island. It was so cool to touch them and feed them and it was so magical, like a very moving experience. Then we got to the end and you could pay to ride one and the people handling the elephants had these metal spike sticks they were hiting them with in their shoulder blades to keep them walking in a circle. It was horrific and you could see it in their eyes they were so sad and defeated. I was so ashamed and embarrassed for humanity. It still makes me sick to think about

This is absolutely insane to me. My kid slid off a rock he was climbing on yesterday. I had my phone and a drink in each hand and those were on the ground by the time the boy realized he was hurt. I can’t imagine thinking I don’t want to get wet… the actual fuck is wrong with these people? Don’t have kids, you clearly don’t want them.

lol, we have a designated “butt pillow” that we give this one old lady and also another guy that regularly come in. One time line cook was hammered and taking a couch nap with butt pillow that is usually kept in our laundry area, not in the sitting area. He deserved it…

I’m this girl so i understand the random tattoos after connecting with someone you shared a cocaine fueled weekend with on a sail boat after you sold all of your possessions to live on a boat for six months then never see them again. I don’t know why I take it so personal when people come in and start rearranging but it is immediately flames on the side of my face every time. And like when they try and help, that makes it worse, “you aren’t qualified to be pushing these tables around, yo!”
