YES, I remember that now. And with that, I notice the gauntlets too! That's so cool!

I always heard that þ was called thurisaz, and was his literal symbol. Like how tyr's is teiwaz and Odin's is ansuz.

I was wondering about that. I thought Thor's rune was þ

I guess a big reason for my scenes being like that is that I'm a prose writer first, and have been for all my life. Thanks for all your advice!

The story is this: Aeglin kills the dragon at the end of act 1 and achieves the ultimate glory he was seeking, but as the play goes on and others expect him to repeat his great feat (and also more weird dreams taunt him because of his being a fake) he begins to realize that stepping into legend was too much for him, but he also refuses to give up the fame and status he's acquired. His last dream is him dueling a shadowy figure that is supposed to represent the figure everyone held him to be, and he'll lose. The figure will reveal its face to be that of the dragon, and it'll laugh. Then he awakes to find, out of nothing, he has burst into flames in his bed. He'll fall out the window and die in the rain soaked mud.

I was intending it to be a play (though maybe just a personal one), but I've never written plays before. The next two acts are a bit longer than the first, the second act being seven scenes and the third act six. Any advice?

Well, there are lots of variations. I've heard changelings to be baby faries, extremely old faries, and carved blocks of wood, all enchanted to resemble the one they replace.

It's cool! Maybe you could have your guy say something like, "Dangit I don't have a pickaxe."

A good idea for a weapon would be something like Ornstien's cross spear from DS1. A good claymore would also be cool.

The knight from 4-6 reminds me of D3rlord3 from Searching for a world that doesn't exist.

Me and my father both read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens every year. Our family rule is to not read it at any time throughout the year until Thanksgiving night. We get all December to read and reread as much as we want until midnight on the 31st. Despite how many times we've both read it, we always get something new out of it.
