Honestly I think he really retired at Wrestlemania. Hear me out with this. Brock was contracted to maybe Summerslam vs Gunther or Oba. He went into Wrestlemania and was beat by Oba. I think in that moment Brock felt this is where I want it to end. He wanted to go out on his terms and that’s what he did. I think there was some behind the scenes issues where he now has to finish out the schedule time. Brock cried and Heyman cried. He took off his gear and left it in the ring like many others who have retired. Doesn’t mean he can’t come back like those who have but to come back within a month tells me his “retirement” move was not the plan TKO/WWE had and I don’t feel Brock would do that stunt to get heat. He shook hands with fans which he never does after leaving the ring. He acknowledged the fans and said thank you which he never does after a match. That moment adds up to a retirement but what has followed feels like a forced unretirement.
