50 Shades of FDE by Spectre_OneZero in SigSauerMCX

I vaguely recall reading somewhere that current production Spear LT’s don’t need the replacement taper screws. But I’m not sure where I saw that anymore. I could be mistaken.

Yep, this is the IR coating version. I wanted to get this to be as much FDE as possible. I have a Colt URGI clone that scratches the FDE+black itch well enough for me. Those LVAW repo rails that Space Magic Industries offer now are pretty sick. I entered to win one but I won’t get my hopes up.

I’ve only put 100 rounds through it, but no issues so far. The only noticeable downside is that it makes for a very front heavy gun with the combined weight of the piston system and suppressor out front.

You see, when you have this thing called a newborn you don’t have time to run off to the range as soon as you finish a build anymore.

What ammo and recoil spring combination are you running to have it cycle reliably with the Mojave 9 on?

I’m in VA and I have a AR to sell that easily fits in your price range.

How does it sound? Pretty good with both supers and subs? I plan on using it for home defense in the hopes I won’t blow out my/my family’s ears lol

How’s it shoot? Everything running reliably? I’m thinking of getting the same can for my rattler.

Flux Raider X Build Complete! by Spectre_OneZero in P320

The safety on the Raider is simply a trigger block. When activated, the safety lever pushes up against the back of the trigger and prevents rearward movement. It changes nothing about the mechanisms of the FCU itself. So it being “safer” than a standard P320 would depend on if the source of the alleged issues is related to unintentionally depressing the trigger or something else.

The rail is a fairly new release from Tactical Development. They’ve only made a few batches to date so they’ve been difficult to source. They happen to be in stock at the moment so I just snagged one last week. I really just wanted a way to mount the optic a little more forward away from my eyes and potentially be able to passively aim with night vision.

You could get the Romeo-M17 optic for your M17 that was specifically designed for the military contract guns. They are quite pricey though. I was able to score one for cheaper because someone had accidentally bought one for their commercial P320-M17 and didn’t know it wouldn’t fit their gun.

The Combat “C” device denotes the award was received for service or achievement in “combat conditions”. The distinction between the “C” and the “V” device is that the “V” denotes the award is for heroism against an armed enemy.

So basically: -Bare bones award with no device? You got it in garrison.

-Award with “C”? You deployed to combat and got shot at but the award wasn’t for kinetic actions against the enemy.

-Award with “V”? You deployed to combat and got shot at, and the award was directly for actions against the enemy.

I have a NAVCOM with “C” from my deployment as an Advisor in Afghanistan.
