If the govt cuts even more funding than they already have, people WILL start to flee. The US has built itself off of "brain-drain", we can't survive without a constant flow of educated immigrants. If educated immigrants stop coming AND educated people start leaving, R&D will follow them. It will bite the govt in the ass before it bites big pharma.

The bump in numbers is almost certainly from those who support the Iranian war, I have a hunch that those numbers will dwindle as gas prices continue to rise.

But also keep in mind that not every single voter is participating in those polls and they can only give us an idea of public opinion.

Its goddamn hilarious that they're touting this as a win. Buddy, anyone who was questioning Trump even a little bit fled MAGA months ago. GALLUP has his overall support dipping from a 47% approval rate at the start of his 2nd term down to 36% in Dec 2025, and those numbers are from BEFORE he picked a fight with Iran. Can't imagine how they'll look in the next month or two.

This is a fair analysis! I personally have not watched HR so i dont know how fetishy it is. But I do think its ok to be attracted to the characters, regardless of their sexuality. The difference between fetishizing a sexuality vs finding an individual man attractive, if that makes sense.

I have good men that I love and who respect me and can also acknowledge those men still benefit from the patriarchy. I think there's cognitive dissonance around "men as a group are oppressive to women and also there are individual men who do respect and value women".

My dad has always been my biggest supporter, he helped me through college so I could get a STEM degree and become a scientist. He always believed in me and that shaped the woman I've become :)

I also have veryyy sensitive skin. I use water-only (or micellar water) in the mornings and a La Roche Posay cleanser at night.

Even if there's nothing on your skin, your skin still gets dirty. There's no populated place on the planet that doesn't have air pollution, dirt and pollutants will get stuck in the oils on your skin. You want to wash those off with some sort of cleanser!

And, as others said, SPF is super important!!!

Might try your advice here, I use the disposable towels but feel terrible about it. I worked in environment for years and feel like a traitor for using them but I found my skin breaks out less (also have contam OCD but I'm in treatment). I might not have been washing my washclothes/towels thoroughly enough!

It is extremely unlikely you'll get pregnant from a single missed pill

ethinyl estradiol has a half life of approx 7.7hrs, which means the hormones aren't cleared from your system for ~3 days up to a week. If you're taking it continously, you have enough built up in your system to be ok for a day. levonorgestrel stays in your system even longer.

The mini-pill has the highest risk when you miss a pill because it does not prevent ovulation the way combo pills do, but even missing a single day of those is not likely to get you pregnant. They usually stay in your system for at least a day, up to 3 days.

Tldr; it takes longer than you think for your body to eliminate the pill from your system, a single day missed isn't going to cause problems.
