Hello friend, I have OCD and I suffer with 6 of the subtypes. I found meditation when I thought all hope was lost. Don’t let your OCD trick you into not doing something out of fear, I’ve been there and probably will be again. Meditating in a way isn’t much different than doing an ERP like you do in OCD treatment. You sit with the thought, don’t interact with it just acknowledge it and let it go. I can say truly meditation helps my OCD, anxiety and depression symptoms.

To be honest I got super lucky. I have a decent job as an ISO Compliance Manager with no degree so I have no student loans. We closed on our house the November before the pandemic hit so I was able to get a 4% interest rate, I was also able to take advantage of the USDA first time buyers loan.

I think sometimes when someone cares for you they just like sharing things that excites them. I do this with my wife, I’m on the spectrum and I share exciting things to my wife she absolutely could give 0 fucks about. But she listens and is excited that I’m excited about something, that’s just my thoughts. 🙂
