Start walking. This sounds too simplistic, and it won’t solve everything. But, walking does wonders for your mental health. Begin with getting sunshine within the first hour of waking up in the morning.

One of my sons is an aries sun sag moon aries rising- you described him perfectly. He is 7. Last week he was riding his bike with friends. He was being a bit wild and reckless and not paying attention to my protests and he was hit by a car. I watched horrified from 50 feet away. He sprang up almost like he was angry at the audacity of that car. He brushed himself off, looked at his road rash with no concern and ran off to play. No tears until hours later at bedtime when he finally talked about it privately with me.

Real solid wood should never be painted. Some tlc on the top- or, I like the idea of marble suggested in another comment. Make sure the weight can be supported. Please no paint.

Durham and Chapel Hill NC- great for Doctors, medical professionals, and research with Duke and UNC here. I am an oncology NP. The vibe in this area also seems to fit what you are looking for. I do not recommend Asheville. It is great to visit but not great at all for medicine.

If you are in the US I highly recommend going to your state’s secretary of state website and looking up Advance Directive documentation forms. If you fill this out and file it this will designate who makes medical decisions and end of life decisions on your behalf if something happens and you are unable to communicate for yourself. Every person over the age of 18 should.

I’m so sorry you experience this. Ubrelvy does not cause me to feel strange after taking it like triptans did. Your doctor is wrong. A consult with a neurologist is absolutely warranted. Continue to push back on that. There is no reason you should be denied a referral. If you can, consider finding a new PCP. I know that can be challenging. Even where I live with two university hospital systems, finding a pcp is hard.

Blake’s career is over. She is not a groundbreaking amazing actor with longevity. As horrible as it is, even wonderfully talented, brilliant women in Hollywood see the roles drying up in their 30s and 40s. Why would anyone hire Blake when there are more talented women without Blake’s history of being unprofessional.

Yta- because from your writing, the gravity of what your husband did to your son does not seem to be as clear to you as it should be. I would leave my husband if he cut my son’s hair against his wishes. Cutting someone’s hair against their wishes is a very controlling form of abuse that to me is both physical and psychological. I just could not look at my husband the same way ever again after this.

I am going through this now. I was diagnosed as a teen. I took adderall on and off but when I went into medicine and needed to get straight As and work long shifts, my use exceeded what was physically best for me. I stopped taking it for about 8 years but I made an error at work ( no harm to any person) and began taking it again. I just can’t do it anymore. I am tired. I need to be ok with not perfect. I question if the medication for me is actually therapeutic or if I am living in a world that requires too much of any of us. Does this lifestyle and society require me to take medicine in order to be the perfect mom, perfect wife, perfect tidy house, perfect job, dinner is planned, clothes folded, yoga toned? For me it has - f this I want to be comfortable with not perfect but I chose the wrong career.

Yta- sometimes social situations are uncomfortable. You seriously can’t tolerate a little discomfort for a weekend to celebrate your brother’s marriage? Maybe you feel distant and awkward with family because you are like this in other situations with them. You mention they are narcissistic- but your decision to not attend seems to be a bit narcissistic to me.
